(play back speed x2) blockMesh airfoil generator Any airfoil can be mesh if you have profile 4 or 5 digit NACA airfoil generator can be found here www.phanquocth...
Thanks for the tutorial! But the spreadsheet cannot generate correct meshdict when inputting a 65-point non-NACA airfoil. BlockMesh would generate negative volume elements (the mesh is not in the airfoil's shape). How can I fix the bug? Is it caused by the number of points, or the airfoil coordinates?
I tried to convert your excel source code to python and gave up, it was the code that was writing the blockMesh script when I gave it an airfoil point as input. I need this for automation, and it would be a really cool project if you could provide the python script.
blockMesh is a builtin mesh generator which can generate a good structured mesh. However the mesh quality is controlled by you. So when you set up your case, make sure the mesh quality is satisfied mesh criteria and matrix solver then it will be good. Mesh quality not mesh generator plays the role
Sorry Sir! After I copy data from .ods file and enter blockMesh command in terminal, this error appears: "ill defined primitiveEntry starting at keyword 'blocks' on line 47 and ending at line 53". Is there any way, that I can manage with this?
I figured it out. It means your missing an end somewhere in your brackets between lines 47 to 53. Open the file and check each end parenthesis in that range.

forget about the tutorial...can you provide the link for backgroung music 😅😅😅
hahaha. my thoughts exactly!
Hi, is the angle of response the same of angle of attack? Could you please give us a definition of that angle?
Hey, i was wondering the same thing. U got that response?

How can I increase the number of cells for the whole domain to make the mesh less coarse?
not able to run mesh in paraview. says segmentation fault( core dumped)
thank you neiht.......its really help
Is this generation method good for unsteady cases?

@@ThienPhan Hi, could you please do a tutorial with inflation layers?
when I run blockMesh command I got the following error: "Unknown definition of expansion ratios:"
Do you have a command line script for this program?
Hello, you generate your blockMeshDict file with blockMeshGenerator.ods ?
You can download the file with the link in the description

mine runs from 46 to 435 lol

how can I change the angle of response ?
Just simply change the free stream direction in 0/U
