Scanning medium to large objects with the Einscan Pro HD is made easy with the turntable (included with the RED bundle) and the proprietary software that do all the heavy lifting for you. Multiple scans are combined and stitched together to create full scale, accurate models of large objects of your choosing.
The Einscan Pro HD 3D Scanner is Shining 3D’s latest addition to their lineup of scanning solutions. Building upon the Pro 2X Plus which we reviewed last year, the Pro HD edition improves upon what was already one of our favorite scanners on the market. This year’s upgrades mainly focus on upgrading the scanning resolution and improving its ability to render more complex objects. The handheld scanning mode is improved through a new light projection model that gives it the stripe pattern scanning which was traditionally used in Fixed Scan Mode and makes it available for handheld scanning. This greatly improves resolution when scanning free handed for larger objects bringing them closer to the resolution and quality seen in the fixed scan modes. The new projection module combined with an updated software algorithm means the EinScan Pro HD is capable of scanning a wider range of objects of dark or black color and casting metal surface, enriching the capability for 3D scanning of materials. Other new features include faster scanning speed and data processing up to 3,000,000 points per second under handheld scan mode, and less than 0.5s for every single frame in Fixed Scan Mode. USB 3.0 provides high speed data transmission.

I saw you supporting comunity recently. :)
Comunity should totally support you.
Yaye Vision Minor.
Guys. Can't survive many days without your great vids. Keep 'em comin'. Thanks and have a super 3 day weekend.
Scans down to the layer lines. Wild!
Cool !
I gotta get better at speaking before I can make scanner videos this nice lol awesome job! 🔥
“Satisfying”... lols... love your passion.
I’m keen to see endoscopic 3d scanners... I’ve been thinking that for nearly 10 years.
I worked on a haptically interactive endoscopic nasal surgical simulator for 5 years... we utilised CT and MRI scan data to reconstruct the nasal cavity lining.
Given the ridiculous price of both CT and MRI machines, not to mention the dangers of radiation, it’s not a bad idea.
🇦🇺🤜🏼🤛🏼😎🍀🤓
This guy could make a 7 figure living doing product reviews.
we all love rob :D
Hahaha thank you!! Many more to come!
Is it possible to use any rotary table with the software or it needs specifically to be the one from the shining3D? Also is it possible to set cutting planes in advance so that you do not need to manually remove any noisy points on the background?
I am going to do a Baja build with my truck and I am looking to pick up one of these scanners around the end of the year. Would be cool to see you guys scan an entire car inside and out and load it up in CAD. Always Good Times here.
Absolutely, coming soon! Are you in Southern Californa? Maybe we can scan yours..... :)
@@VisionMiner Close enough and I am always down for an adventure
Firstly great educational video, I am new to the scanning gig and purchased the same Einscan as yours. You mentioned about holes that you could drop in a cylinder, do you have a video that explains how this can be done
I've heard that using pegs is recommended when scannig objects with holes.
Can you do a vid on exposure time or other reasons it can be hard to get a print OFF of the build plate? We have the Phrozen 8k and the plate is perforated... which also makes it hard to remove prints...especially when they are large (ie.. 7x10x7 !)
It was good you had the 800 X graphic
what do you do when your file is massive and you have multiple project groups you go to mesh it and it runs out of RAM? I have a laptop I9 32gb ram and it keeps crapping out when I go to mesh the full model
Yeah you might want to try a lower resolution -- or scan difference sections separately
With one scan, without putting together multiple scans, how large of an object can I scan? For example a regular entrance door is too big, or a regular window?
You could definitely scan both of those easily -- the limit tends to be 1-2 meters from the centerpoint, the start of the scan, before you start losing accuracy -- but you can stitch to your hearts content!
Dude, it'd be MEGA helpful if I could see you scan a car fender or a bumper. This would be VERY, VERY beneficial. I'm struggling with this pro hd, even with spray, dots, etc. I am trying to scan an entire car and stitch it all together but...struggling.
We get this request so much that we're planning on scanning a large section of a car very soon -- here's some questions:
1. how far are your dots spaced, and are they entirely asymmetrical?
2. Is the surface reflective, or are you dulling it with something like aesub? visionminer.com/products/aesub-blue?_pos=1&_sid=f8c6b026f&_ss=r
3. Have you tried adding "features" to the surface, to help with feature recognition over long flat/featureless areas?
4. Did you calibrate your scanner in the scanning environment before attempting to scan? Sometimes when you move lighting conditions, it helps to recalibrate the scanner while in those conditions
Hope this helps for now!
Same problem. Trying to scan chairs and sofas - can't seem to handle anything with the Pro HD bigger than a couple of square feet. Constantly losing tracking, and even will hundreds of targets, it just doesn't work.
Did you ever solve your issues with scanning a car? I'd love to know. We're thinking of writing off our HD Pro as a bad job.
Rob; details on price(s) would be nice to mention in the video...
If you gotta ask then you probably can't afford it. Joking, but wouldn't it be better if we went to their website and looked for the bundle that fits our needs. I can say you won't pay more that $15,000.
We don't put prices in videos, because prices sometimes change, but videos last forever -- it's always on the website, though!
hi could u scan a computer motherboard with this
I would use the HX for that, yes!
