Ah your videos are soooo good! I just signed up to train with you, I'm hurt you're booked up until Dec! lol I've been searching for a coach like you who trains both technically and helps to build soul and character in the voice. Looking forward to learning from you
@@cacicole thank you! I’m glad you find my videos helpful and recognize what I’m trying to do out here! Haha I’m looking forward to seeing you in December 🤗Oh, and thank you for your patience! 🙏
How does someone manage to regulary sing in such an airy tone for years and years like she does without drying out their cords in the short term and damaging them in the long term? I would love to add it to my style, bc I like how it sounds when i do it here and there
Oooo, this is a GREAT question! I can't speak to Brandy's overall vocal health and how she feels--but I can speak to an overall strategy when it comes to implementing vocal techniques in your repertoire. 1. How does it feel when you try a new technique? Do a check-in on yourself: Does it make you feel more vocal fatigue or do you feel like you're straining? 2. If the answer is yes on your 'check'in' then here is what I suggest: First, try new ways to get the same sound. Can you do it without straining? Can you find balance with your vocal cord closure---maybe do a less extreme version. Second, use it sparingly until you can do it without feeling any adverse reactions to your voice. 3. If your answer is no to the check-in in step 1, chances are your technique is pretty healthy. But you should continue to monitor your vocal health throughout the longterm to make sure you're not noticing any adverse affects. Overall, I think it's great to experiment with your voice and try new things with it, ESPECIALLY if you like the way it sounds and it doesn't hurt your voice while doing it. Play around in moderation and always be aware of the impact. You got this! 🥳✨🧡
Yes she has mastered a specific technique that was taught to her by her dad at a very young age. It’s flawless and so beautiful! Oh and you better believe she has taught the same technique to Sarai’ her daughter ❤

Any singer would give their left arm to have Brandy’s skill. Brandy has a special skill that is so hard to grasp, she’s the RnB Bible for sure !
