It wouldn't make any sense to have it any other way imo, it all comes to a full circle and it gets tied up perfectly with some of the ppl like natalie and aimie being involved with the project since the very beginning 💜💛
The "we don't need your love" harmony sounded so so so so nice and it's so heart warming to see the progress they've made and how far they've comeee

gonna have to disagree, bringing them back made so little sense and must have been a hugely challenging task on the costume and wig department made even worse with the fact that these costumes are notoriously hard to make. Not to mention the current cast have been doing it for the past 7 months ?? like they are going to be more physically and vocally suited to the roles and it just feels like a slap in the face especially when they've been carrying the show in order for this to happen. They should have at least had the hampton performances but they've really had nothing to work with. As well as SiX knows very well how toxic it's fandom can be, continuing to bring back this cast does no favour to the current cast or the members joining in october.

@@cymbelinesgf bringing them back for the proshot does make sense from a business standpoint. whether you agree or don’t agree they are the “iconic”cast” and the turn out of the hampton court performance proves that and the fact that the performances for the proshot were all SOLD OUT..

@@cymbelinesgf These were only five shows... they are not going to come back every year. 😂 Sure, they can be emergency contacts as they know the choreography, but having this cast as the cast for the proshot only makes sense from a business standpoint as it is an instantly recognisable cast which will drive more sales and gain more attraction to the product.

@@trevonte3723 yes from a business standpoint it definitely drew some attention, but even then SiX is enough of a phenomenon it would have carried itself. Morally it just feels at odds with its rhetorics, that's all. I feel for those behind the scenes and I think that's valid.

@@jacobflies2000 that's the point ... it was only five shows. The amount of unnecessary work that went into those 5 performances is insane. As said, the costumes for this show are notoriously hard to make and the makers are equally notoriously underpaid. Also said in another response, it feels as if it's a decision made against a lot of the rhetorics Moss&Marlow attached and embedded into the show. I don't think it's a crime to acknowledge that this was a bizarre choice and at odds with the premise of the shows ethics. Whilst the og cast provide some short term excitement, SiX can carry its own and for those who have kept up with the casts of the show and the behavior of the fandom, it's a disappointing decision and I think that's valid to point out.

I hope everyone brought their A game for the Proshot because as much as I wanted the new cast to be in the proshot, filming the original cast was a good business decision and will attract more people to the pro shot!

I'm slightly worried that viewers of the proshot, not having seen six, will want to see this cast live and will be disappointed and that's not fair because the current cast is AMAZING too

it’s the pre-recording, they’re making a movie of the musical so they brought the OG cast back

I still don't understand why they didn't record this with the current cast or if they wanted an OG they would have used Broadway, which is what most of its members maintain (although I have a theory that they have the night Opening also recorded on video). It doesn't seem unfair to me, or they would have done it before they went and take it out later, as in the case of Hamilton.
In the end, I'll still see it because I haven't seen much of this cast since I knew about the musical through the Broadway one and it's the only opportunity I have to see it properly (I'm from Latin America xd).

If they wanted an OG cast... they will use this cast because the Broadway cast is not the OG cast...
