Thank you for such an engaging Holy Week Retreat! The brutality and beauty of the cross - for every Christian to better understand. If any of you find yourselves in Washington DC, there is a Franciscan Monastery which has a 3D mural of the crucifixion. You can get up close to it and when you stand under the cross Jesus was nailed to, it feels as if you are there. Profound.

Starting my day with your talk today. Thanks, Father Rob. Blessed be your Lent. God has been giving me private revelation. He wants me to write it down. He wants me to continue my online studies and prayer. So that's what I will do.
Today, I pray for Pope Francis, as you speak about breathing. It's literally a miracle that God chose a Pope with only one lung. It's also a miracle that many people have survived through the pandemic that ended, and for those who have survived the recent earthquakes. For all priests, bishops, nuns, and my family as well. Keep our hearts and minds focused on how Jesus redeemed, ransomed, and released our souls. In Your most Holy Name, Jesus, I thank you. Amen.

Thank you Fr. Rob for bringing the reality of the cross to a 21st century listener! It only shows the love of God for us from the beginning of time. Seeing Jesus' foreknowledge of His death deserves a deep response from us! He wants OUR hearts and souls to give us His new life!

Growing up and going through CCD I never realized OR was taught how brutal/bloody the
crucifixion was. It seemed like it was all sugar coated and didn’t teach us how it really was for Jesus.
Thank you Father Rob for this very emotional and deeply profound teaching. How good if every Parish Priest preached this for people to fully understand and appreciate this amazing sacrifice of love for each of us by Our Lord Jesus. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

18:38 he is quoting Psalm 22 which talks about how the Messiah would die and if you read on Psalm 22:16 it's says "dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet"

†TRUE AND POWERFUL CONVERSION STORY, OF A GREAT SINNER AND GREAT MIRACLES! Part II
Thank GOD for our LADY of GUADALUPE; when I visited her Shrine in Mexico in Dec. 2012, and I was suffering at the time of "Sleep Apenea" I was healed really while still there - FRARNKLY, my first intensions were to honor her! †Also, when I prayed few Rosaries to help me to quit smoking cigaretes on May 17, 1998, she answered my prayers immediately, though I was SUPER skeptical at that time, (prv 3: 5)
†Truly, when I was inspired to recite one single Rosary in December 12, 2000, I was healed from my unbelief (Jn. 14: 1) - and I tried at the time first to pray OUR FATHER, but I couldn't remember the prayer; but GOD still saved me (Jn 14:15 - 27)!
†Also During my first Rosary procession outdoors in May 13, 2001, I saw Queen of the Holy Rosary walking with us for 4-5 seconds; And she was dressed of long, dark, blue dress & absolutely attractive one, etc. etc!
†Since my conversion, I try NOT to miss attending Mass weekly or daily etc. And I pray the Devine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00pm, and I NEVER miss it.
†UNDOUBTLY, Reading & meditating on "Gospel of life" according to the daily readings is like my "daily bread" And I read the Bible from cover to cover 3 times since my conversion! - and I read the CCC as well, (Is. 55: 10 -11) and "I truely use the Bible as a guide & compass for my life". I remember very well that In the beginning of 2003 I heard VERY sweet voices for few times singing above my bed as I awoke in the morning, and they continued nearly 5 seconds!
Also, I like to what some one says: every winter turns into spring. But "The fool says in his heart, "There is no God" (Ps.14:1). †Unfortunately, many "Catholics don't know what they have, and Evangelicals don't know what they are missing!"
†And I used to attend few different Evangelical Churches for few years searching for TRUTH while residing in Stockholm & they opened my eyes a LITTLE bid to the facts of faith at the time.
† God is still in the miracle buisness. And thank God for the ROSARY miracle prayer, etc.(Ps. 107:13- 14). And St. Paul said: "No l eye has not seen, no ear has heard no mind has conceived, what God has prepared for those who LOVE Him." - 1 Cor 2: 9
* "This is the day which GOD hath made a day for us to REJOICE & be GLAD"- Ps.118: 2).
