एक बिच्छू का आकर आप क्या सोच सकते हैं? ज्यादा से ज्यादा आपकी हथेली के बराबर. एक काले-भूरे रंग जहरीला जीव जिसकी एक डंक खतरनाक साबित हो सकती है. एक समय था जब बिच्छू धरती पर राज करता था. तब ये हथेली के बराबर आकार का नहीं होता था. इसका आकार बहुत बड़ा होता था. तब ये ज्यादा जहरीला भी होता था. हाल ही में एक प्राचीन जीवाश्म का अध्ययन करने पर पता चला कि यह एक सामान्य कुत्ते के आकार का करता था.
