It's so nice to see another person who loves both brightly colored and dramatically aparkly or shimmery eyeshadow AND Viseart ! You completely understand and articulate well the benefits of having Viseart shadows on hand.
For the same reasons, i have been eyeing the Esum palettes sonce they started coming out this year. I think Esum founders used to partner with Viseart on creative matters within the V brand, so i don't know if they broke that tie now and have become competitors. Adter my other beauty sprees, I didn’t have any budget room to get even the holiday 3 palette package and i had the nagging feeling they would only compete with my large Viseart collection, which includes several of their older all-satin/mild shimmer palettes. So i passed on Esum for now.
I find it interesting how Viseart used to be the gaspworthy gold standard in pricing for eyeshadow that wasn't from a luxury fashion house. And now Esum is like, " oh no, we can top you there, old friends!" VISEART now seems like a bargain 😂
Omg you’re so right! I used to cringe at Viseart’s pricing and then got into Esum and have been waiting for a sale because I cannot justify spending full price on those 😂
From what I’ve heard they do great sales year round so I’m sure you’ll have a chance to grab something from them at a better time!!
@Katelynhousemakeup thanks! Yes, noticed Esum had sales earlier in the year too, I will be waiting for the next sale and meanwhile using my beloved "budget brand" Viseart 🙃

Basic Witch looks so pretty! The matte color story doesn’t really excite me, which is what’s keeping me from getting it… but those shims 😍

I mean I like the formula and if I had a spot to show the plouise palettes maybe it would bother me less? But yeah as of my current circumstances not a fan 😂

I love combining palettes too! I think that Harvest Moon palette would pair nicely with a few different melt palettes, the 420, the Gemini 1&2, and probably the Rust palette. The Twenty Seven would probably work too, I don't have that one but it's on my wishlist. I love melt's matte formula and I really enjoy pairing my melt palettes with other palettes.
Those are all good options!! I would still need a lighter shimmer option I think lol
Man, I love watching your videos. Truly! I don’t have any of these palettes. I saw that Queer Bones picked up the Esom bundle too and I was intrigued by how they said they felt it would help them buy fewer palettes because the staples are all there. I’m not yet onboard with Recently Deinfluenced for the same reasons you used to describe the first BBB palette in your ranking. I’m just not as interested in those shimmers as much as ones in their other palettes. But I want to keep giving it more tries.
Oh that’s so interesting!!! I feel like the Recently Deinfluenced shimmers were the consistent shimmer formula for the brand to me whereas Poison Garden has some different shimmer formulas that are too lackluster for me. But that’s what’s fun about makeup! We all like different stuff 😊
@@Katelynhousemakeup I thought the quality was good, I think I just wanted more variety in textures and I found the multichromes to be a little interesting than what they were in other palettes but yes, SOOOO subjective!!
@@bethanybez ahhh that makes sense. I like that formula so I’m good with it being the only one 😂 that’s actually why I dislike poison garden 2. There’s other shimmer formulas that I don’t like in there lol.

I didn't use much new stuff in November but I love the three oden's eye Christmas palettes (christmas eve,merry christmas and snow dream)
But I have almost finalised my 15 favourite palettes.
The oden's eye and the new comic brushes are not yet included.

I feel like the Pretty Grunge palette would have fit a “film noir” theme much better based on the colour story, and that would have been much more interesting imo. We’ve seen a lot of grunge themes lately.
Yeah everything is labeled grunge without actually being grunge!
I think the only thing grunge about that launch was the black lipstick lol
