This is helpful. I have two pairs of jeans that I love but I have loved thin in stress spots--or not really stress spots. The fabric just got thin. I can try these methods to cover up my first attempt at fixing with liquid stitches.

イタリアとかだとシルクの靴下履いて、破れたら繕って履くと聞いたことがあります。
日本の靴下は安いし丈夫だから使い捨てなのかも？

If you can hem an item, you can do this. Also comes in handy when the opening to a pillow needs to be sewn closed after the stuffing.
