- I'm meeting my boyfriend in Newport, South Wales for a date - just to hang out and spend time together, as we haven't seen each other all week. We have lunch in Tesco cafe, mooch around a few shops including Tesco, Home Bargains and Matalan (IB buys a few things for his van). I give you a quick tour of IB's partially converted 'vanlife' van, and we eventually discover that the Newport Medieval Ship Centre is actually open on Fridays and we just about have time to visit it. So glad we did - it was brilliant and I highly recommend a visit.

I’m with IB when it comes to organisation. I love a tub/box/basket to keep things tidy. I only buy glass Tupperware these days though because the plastic just doesn’t last, and can’t be put in home recycling here
I do miss travelling by train in the UK. We just don’t have such a great train system here in America.
