+Anne C it's probably Boy George's as, as he says later, Jordan was unlikely to go through that far, as the public wouldn't vote for her because she is transgender. I imagine he was really sad because she is really good, but probably won't go through.

At the Knockouts I was in doubt when Paloma put her through, and I thought that she should've been replaced with Deano. But tonight, she showed the nation that she's a born artist.

this performance felt like a famous artist performing there own song on tour with years of experience. She was in her element and thats so enjoyable to watch :') i hope we see her again soon i want to hear what she'd write

Amazing .....really.....love it when they sing great songs and not just familiar number ones from the 80s....if we want to be bored and to be patronised by an 80s theme week we can watch X Factor...this is THE VOICE and good voices wanna sing good songs...and last night Jordan did exactly that...but not just a great song choice but an amazing voice and confidence on stage...my top 3, Kevin, Jordan and Jolan.....best voices and best taste in music....well done Jordan, we're loving ya

I would love to see Jordan perform either Earth Song or They Don't Care About Us. I feel that a Michael Jackson song would work so well for her tone and that she would sing with such emotion that she would be guaranteed a place to the final.

This was one of the more theatrical performances of the night, but oh boy did Jordan really pull this off. Her voice carries her gender into the world with astonishing clarity. She clearly has it ALL, and delivered one of the stand out moments of the season. It's so amazing to see someone almost explode like this. You will seldom see anything more anthemic or heartfelt. Jordan deserves to win this competition on this performance alone, and I'm not sure she will ever top it. Paloma had no choice but to put Jordan through, and she will continue as one of the real contenders.
+periurban Just out of curiosity, am I simply disagreeing with you or have you dropped your standards for this season? Because I've always thought Jordan was a great performer, you can tell in her stage presence and how she's having fun. However, her voice is NOWHERE NEAR winning potential for me. The fact that she didn't get any turns in the audition should make it clear enough that's it not up there with the best. At fear of being a little controversial, I feel like Jordan would be nowhere if she wasn't transgender. I'm hopefully not coming across as transphobic, because I'm not, she stands for a wonderful community of people and is a great role model, but for me her voice is nothing special.
isthisbetterYT? The coaches did make a huge error (one of many) in not turning for Jordan. I think the consensus was that they were crazy! BUT Jordan has improved markedly from that point, and it isn't really about the technical proficiency of the voice at this point, but the connection with the audience.
That's why Harry and Lauren failed tonight. Fine singers, but didn't connect.
But Jordan really, really connected with the moment and it showed in every second. At least to me, but I get that not everyone likes the same thing, so if you weren't too impressed that's fine.

From your comments it seems like you quite enjoyed tonight's performances, whereas I thought there were no standouts (I fear that last year has damaged my standards for this show, it was fantastic!), I was tweeting how Cody being a bit underwhelming (in my opinion) was DEFCON 1, because I thought she was going to be the act that never put a foot wrong in the show.

The whole show was undermined by Beth and Chloe pulling out, so that might have affected people too.

She is the best! It doesnt matter if she isnt the best vocalist. Personally, I love her original sound but, it is the way she performs and how well she tells the songs stories what makes her so unique.

this was so wow and timeless! I was hoping for a big moment and this certainly was! It didn't felt I was listening to the voice, but to a show from an established artist. She has a voice and an emotion on her voice that is indeed timeless, something I would keep on listening throughout the years and never running out of fashion! Loved it!

She did amazing in this performance.
Jordan is now at the top for me alongside Cody with Chloe out. She has this timeless, rough-around-the-edges quality to her that is just mesmerizing. I love her shouts and her laughter and theatrics. But I am genuinely so impressed by this series, I'll happily be keeping an eye out for music from Beth, Vangelis, Harry, Jolan, Kevin, Bradley, Mia, Deano, Rachel-Ann...the list goes on! People can look down on music shows like this all they like but you can't deny they do bring in and expose talent!
