MY BAD!! there should be no 19 there Thanks for spotting that!!!! I'll clean that up in a revised version of this paper! Hope I didn't throw anyone off with that~
@@csec-maths-chem-paper1s haha no worries paper 1 was a breeze for me because of your videosssss thanks a lot for posting them! Feeling the 1 in maths😅
@@rihannabourne8094 nice work getting prepared! but yea, srsly, you have to like literally hand-write out solutions for like a year to be adequately prepared for the paper 2s ~ like every single day for a year you got to do problems and write out solutions, in order to remember all that stuff! write - review - repeat over and over again! so it doesn't keep falling out your brains hehehe~
I just completed the Paper 1 vid CSEC Maths P1 - May/June 2024 ~ ua-cam.com/video/CzleyjcmbrU/v-deo.html It seems like it was almost 100% repeats Only 3 or 4 I think were new-ish
Gl on exam today! hope you see this before: in this version of the pie chart we're given 12 prefer chocolate the diameter cuts the circle in half so milk + chocolate is 180° and pineapple + orange is 180° we also know milk is 120° so that makes chocolate 180° - 120° = 60° so lets focus on that portion of the circle the milk if you have 12 students accounted for by 60° of the circle and because milk is 120°, that's twice as many students in the milk portion so that'll mean the milk portion of the circle is just 12 times 2 = 24 we can stop calculating like that now because we now know 180° is accounted for by 12 + 24 = 36 students so that means the other semicircle, which is also 180 degrees, accounts for 36 students as well so altogether there's 36 + 36 = 72 total students
hey sir/miss, for number 49, what is the point of the "=19" in the question?

Correction on question 49 ~ see the pinned comment! ~ there should be no "= 19" in the question
Sorry about that~
Ive been seeing number 44 on older papers can you further break it down please?
Gl on exam today! hope you see this before:
in this version of the pie chart
we're given 12 prefer chocolate
the diameter cuts the circle in half
so milk + chocolate is 180°
and pineapple + orange is 180°
we also know milk is 120°
so that makes chocolate 180° - 120° = 60°
so lets focus on that portion of the circle the milk
if you have 12 students accounted for by 60° of the circle
and because milk is 120°, that's twice as many students in the milk portion
so that'll mean the milk portion of the circle is just 12 times 2 = 24
we can stop calculating like that now because
we now know 180° is accounted for by 12 + 24 = 36 students
so that means the other semicircle, which is also 180 degrees, accounts for 36 students as well
so altogether there's 36 + 36 = 72 total students
