People, almost all those holidays have zero connection to the Torah, even Christmas, which by way Jesus wasn’t born on winter, read the gospels. The messiah will bring world peace build the third temple. If you see the truth and it ignore it, Tovia Singer is only showing the truth, and I’m happy to see a Rabbi show the real path to learning scripture. I have not walked in to hear and be part of church since my parents died. Tovia Singer and other Rabbis is the closet thing I have to learning Torah the right now, and from a Jew. After leaving Christianity, they've lost Christmas, Easter, Hallowe'en, St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, etc., so to go from that to having NOTHING 'religious' to celebrate, must be quite shocking to them. Also, they've been used to hearing Bible teachings from their former religious leaders in their Sunday services, where there was music of various types, and singing of hymns. This would also be a major shock to give all this up and have no 'replacement', as it were.
I don't feel I had to. As you understand and the lies of what it all is from, clears, it's actually nice. You are considered weird and possibly a threat. Socially you have to learn how to embrace that. The only thing I miss honestly is the praise and worship. It's a natural high that is good for you. I still sing and worship from my heart w/o words. Not old hymns. It's free. I had a paper route and did it all night long. The beauty of the night is inspirational as well as dawn to sing to Hashem.

Yes, I agree with you - I also miss the praise and worship hymns - I used to love the tunes of a lot of them. in I'm glad that you're comfortable with not celebrating any holidays, but find comfort in "...singing and worshiping from your heart w/o words.". I would be careful though, that the tunes you hum, don't contain the name of the "Jesus" character. I remember a Pastor once pointing out that the hymn or chorus we were about to sing, could be sung by anyone, because it didn't contain the name of "Jesus", which I thought was a strange comment at the time!
