- Hello! Welcome back to Welsh in Wellies -or welcome if you're new! I'm Francesca and this channel is all about my seaglass hunting and mudlarking adventures with my salty sea dog, Bear. This week’s video is Day 2 of my trip to Seaham - the sea glass capital of the world! Make sure to check out Day 1 if you haven’t already.
Come sea glass hunting with me on Seaham Hall Beach where we search for precious multis, receive sea glass gifts from kind strangers and make a shocking surprise find right at the end of the day! I also give my honest opinion about Seaham and whether it’s worth all the hype in the sea glassing community.

Sometimes all it takes is that one special find, the blue stripped multi is gorgeous and bubbly bubbles❤. I agree that the treasure hunting community whatever their preference are so kind. Beautiful round up🙂

We are planning a trip east to Nova Scotia in August. I can't wait to comb the beaches there!
There is a beach I go to in Goderich Ontario Canada that started me on 'Beach Glass' on Lake Huron. I have a very small collection. In the summer heading down to the beach there I imagine the Carribean just by the beautiful blue water! Thank you for letting me live through you on the beaches in GB!

I'm thinking it would be worth hiring a cottage in the winter and spending the whole time on the beach. There are mudlarking opportunities up that way as well.
We did an Air BnB - it was amazing. I’m staying in a hotel next time though so I don’t have to cook! I was exhausted both days!

I have a huge agate collection already from wales! And I might be biased but I think the Welsh agate is better 😂🤫
Been to Seaham quite a few times now, mainly just walking our Beagle Monty. We do pick up some sea glass along the way, and have found some nice pieces. My wife likes to collect it and we now have quite a substantial collection. Most of it is small single colours stuff, but we do have a few multicoloured bits. Have you found any of the ones with what looks like metal wire?
Yes lots of safety glass! I have some other Seaham videos on my channel and I think I film finding some in those! Give Monty a hug from me ❤️ and happy hunting!!

Where’s the best place to stay if going to Seaham? If I were coming from the United States, I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Seems like most larger cities are pretty close by and it’s only a 3 hour drive to Scotland. Everything’s so close.
I stay in Seaham itself. There are lots of air b&bs and hotels
* Right below (2 stones away) was a yellow (possibly a caramel Agate.) & you passed up lots of green.. You can't hear me telling you from here in the middle of the No. Am. continent.. LOL.. 2 months after you left.. There are so many Agates.. But I don't see Multi ones.. you are working very hard to find some..

Just visited for the second time, too many people and not much sea glass. My local beach at Cleveleys is much better.
