He’s NOT lying! Without knowing this trick my maintenance light would’ve kept going on and off every time I started my car even though I had change the oil
I feel like other videos try to over complicate it to make the video longer perhaps for monetization purposes. This one is the most straightforward but even this one is two minutes too long. - Hold the DISP button - Turn the key two clicks to turn the car on but don't start it - Continue to hold the DISP button until the Maint Reqd light turns off
Thank u for posting this video. U explained everything perfectly and in great detail.. It worked on the first try for me. I have a 2016 Corolla.. thanx again 👍✌️
1.Turn the ignition switch to the off position. 2. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button. 3 . Turn the ignition to the on position BUT do not start the engine position just right before. 4. Release the trip odometer reset button after 000000 appears on the odometer display and maintenance light turns off. Hope that helps God bless

Any idea why it comes on at all? Is it innocuous? I'm about to try something like this on my 2016 Auris
Just a maintenance light for oil change. If you cannot reset it check your manual or go to the dealer . works for me God bless
@@mbjdiy1778 this exact process just worked for my Toyota Auris 2016 diesel. Thanks and God bless You
