This band was a surprise for me, heard of it but never listened to them, when i first checked this out i was blown away by the fucking cheer power of her voice and the in betweens of her singing, she is defo gifted singer she has a fantastic voice.
I just love Oceans of Slumber! Amazing band! One of my all time favorite bands!
Love it. Also expected nothing short of greatness. Cammie's rawrrss are great. I know she was slightly nervous (naturally as these are the first recorded ones)
Goes to show there is no accounting for taste. I never heard of them and this was my first one and i loved it. Looking back in time for me i hope they continue on this path because this one does it more for me then their earlier stuf.
Imagine if everyone liked all the same stuff. Boring.
Glad folks are enjoying it and diving into their discography, they are an amazing band!
They are soooo good!
so gloriously good
Within the next minute, all three figures will be surrounding Cammie as she is now strung up in Shibari. A type of torture bondage derived from what was originally known as Kinbaku in Japan and is now associated with BDSM. While this bondage can be both an expression of dominance or stolen power; the lyrics don’t point towards the lust of flesh as much as they do the manipulation of the mind.
Oh,I love this band. And this song sounds even more prog than their usual stuff. But it is important to remember that they are not really a metal band. I mean, they are a dark rock.gothic/prog band with bits of metal incorporated into the structures of their songs. A few albums in their catalog are not even metal albums.
I agree, personally. I found the song a bit disjointed. There are individual elements to the song that I liked, but they didn't seem to fit well together, especially the harsh vocals.
Agree
Mayhem Life Eternal Live :)
Between all other band members, the vocalists looks ( and sounds ) very out of place.
