@@bigcheech1937 you are seriously misinterpreting the words of the master. God is a concept in your mind DOES NOT mean that the Real God Does not exist. Nisargadatta HAS NEVER PRONOUNCED SUCH WORDS. Nisargadatta is trying to tell you that you cannot understand the real God because your Life îs made of concepts. And in your mind, God is also a concept. If you are not yet enlightened, It means you mainly live through concepts.

Why would something have to have an end because it has a beginning? There are lines that go on forever in two directions and lines that begin at a point and go on forever. No beginning and no end is eternal. A beginning and no end is forever.
Also, just because something is temporary doesn't mean it isn't important. It would make as much sense to me to say that if something is eternal it isn't important, which is no sense, it's just something that someone can say like if man were meant to fly he'd have wings.
It seems to me a clever thing to say that defending consciousness is an indication that we feel it needs defending. Whoopty-doo, it's my mind that feels and does not consciousness.
Also, it appears that the Sun will come to an end in 4 billion years but it seems clear to me also that not a thing is as it appears to be. In fact, or Truth, nothing is everything. 🙏
Those lines which go on forever where but in concept do they exist?
If you want to be right you can argue the logic but if you want to be enlightened by truth you will follow a deeper thirst .
