Hey everyone! Welcome to our family vlog channel. We are The Rankin family - Andrea (Mum) Si (Dad) Georgia - who is also know as Britain's Tiniest Teenager at only 30-inches tall and 19. Brody 9 & Poppy (our 10 year old Shih tzu).
We live in Cheshire - North West England - United Kingdom.

Proper tent that ... I was admiring one this weekend at Silverstone for the MotoGP. Amazing bit of kit and this bugger had a porch and a matching Berghaus Gazebo.. some set up he had ..
Not like my fibreglass poled 6 berth with gaffer tape to hold it all In place.. 😂😂👍 deffo gonna invest in of the Air Ronnys.
We also have the porch and shelter 😂 they are fab and make such a difference to your trip. I’ll be uploading a new video which features our full set up plus must have items and hacks soon so keep an eye out 👍🏻

I loved watching this, reminds me of when our 4 boys were smaller and we went camping. That tent looks brilliant though! I hated all the struggling with poles etc. Great idea taking the washing up bowl and the dishmatic! Unfortunately my hubby passed, and we haven't got any drivers now, so we don't get away, but it's brought back good memories. I have MS, so understand some of the problems with pain etc that Georgia has, and love her positivity, and obviously found you through her! Looking forward to more of your cheerful vlogs!
i forgot to say i love her stamina and determnation shes an insperation to everyone and shes so funny and really pretty.
I love camping!! This video has just brought back so many memories me and my girlfriend have a vango 600 xl. Great tent! So soon we will be going away! 😁 Can’t wait
I love camping our family usually go in 3 tents for 2 weeks during the summer holidays at either Culzean Castle in Ayr or Stanwix park in Silloth, Cumbria but sadly that can't happen this year. I really miss it but hope to go camping in the garden at some point

Great set up, I will take some of those ideas myself. We just got a Berghaus Air 6xl and went camping for the first time yesterday. We took minimal gear as we haven't got much else yet, so your tips were invaluable, thank you

Excellent, wife and I really enjoyed that, we are doing our very first cam in 2 weeks time we just bought the air 6.1 xl , just hope we enjoy it now, gotta say put your milk in your cups first before the hot water 😂
Such a great video. We will be camping in May. I’m so excited. We live in Pennsylvania and are going to camp in a state park. Such a difference between yours and ours. It will be my first tent camp out (sold our RV) in years and I have already started a list. Thanks to your video, I remembered to add a mallet to my List. It will also be first tent camp with my grandchildren. Fortunately, we camped a lot when my boys were young so I still have some things.
I noticed there were no trees and didn’t see anything for shade at any of the sites. We’ve got miles of hiking trails. Obviously you don’t just sit by your tent, either. We don’t have to think about shade because we will be surrounded by enough trees to hang 3 hammocks. Now I’m really looking forward to our trip. I ordered a tent that will be delivered in about 6 weeks. I have been looking for family camping videos. Yours is so interesting. Thank you for sharing.

Also great idea with the wet mop thing. I wouldn't have thought of that. Camping there is nothing like camping in South Jersey USA. Our sites are in the woods completely and usually has a lake near by. Also tents are not that close to each other. But it looks like a lot of fun.

Lawn camping may not be my thing - I prefer getting out in the wild - but the rest of that campground is so pretty! All those trees + hedges & the little farm; just delightful. ❤

I subscribed after watching Georgia! Great video! Love wales! 🏴 Georgia isn’t the only one cause I don’t partially like camping myself. The V.I.POO advent always makes me laugh especially when it’s says “VIP’s also need to V.I.POO” 😂😂 I’m the same I hate the camping toilets (only went camping once) but I hate public rootless in general, there disgusting half the time! Aww pops face, she’s so cute. Exactly like my dog 😂🐶 love the colour of your van. Blue sky favourite colour so a blue van works for me 👍 Lol brody, your faves and dance moves, so funny! 😂 Your tent looks really good! Love that tent, it’s got everything!! Nice views and sunset! Your Camping set up and equipment is very similar to the way we do things. Hope You get away somewhere this year, because we have booked a couple of places for later on when they hopefully reopen. Subscribed!
What a great set up you have, me and my mrs are starting out camping and you have made up our minds on what tent to get for my family we have 2 children and i think the tent you have is amazing, we have most of our camping gear but no tent as of yet,lol. Just ordered 4 hi gear camp beds. Just one question to ask, can I get away with a top box for the car with all the camping gear and tent. I have a Vauxhall insignia hatchback. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for your lovely comment. Great to hear your about to start camping - you'll love it! I think a roof box on your car would be a great idea and will give you more room in the car. Awh thank you that's so nice to hear. The cooker in this video is the older bigger Cadac with legs. We have since purchased the new Cadac Cook 2 Pro 2 and its a game changer. I'll be doing a review on it soon so watch this space.😊
Could I ask why you ran the 240v cable over the roof of the tent, rather than just setting up your kitchen area the other side?
Good question. We do this so we can access the electrics near the main door as we normally have the porch up, that way it's easier to charge my daughters wheelchair at night.

Hi, thanks so much for your lovely comment. Yes, we were using it up until June this year when we decided to sell it. We have a camper van so use the air porch with the van and are looking at buying a drive away awning with bedroom to give us more pitch options in the future. Definitely won't be stopping camping we love it. I am tempted to buy the Air 4 just for weekends, I really like the little living room area with the front window/mesh option. 😊
Just bought the air 8 and haven't unpacked it yet, I'm guessing you get the pump with it.

Jack Bonney we’re really missing it too. We did camp out in the garden for the NHS at Easter which was fun. Hopefully we might get a weekend away later in the year. Stay safe 😊

What electric bits do you use at campsites what do you need to plug into outside and inside tent x
You need an electric hook up cable which connects to a box on your pitch, the other end of the cable has 4 sockets. Hope that helps 😊
Where do you empty bucket/toilet?
We empty this onsite at an eleanor point. Hope that helps 😊

How long is set up pls? we are thinking of getting a berhaus air 6 for use when the lock down is lifted.
Hi, the tent itself takes 20 mins max to inflate and peg. It's the setting up of the beds, tables and everything but the kitchen sink lol that takes the longest. All in all, I'd say 1.5 hours for everything including porch and shelter. Totally worth it though. Definitely recommend the Air 6. Happy camping!
Why do you have a vest on your dog if it’s not a service dog?
It's just a harness not a service vest, most uk dogs own this type of harness 👍🏻

If you like the extra space then I would say go for it as you could use the other bedroom as a storage area or wardrobe etc. I personally love the look of the Air 4 and think the layout is great for two adults. Tempted to buy one myself for weekends 😊

Got to say and i'm probably going to spell her name wrong lol but i'm with georgia on this one. I hate camping to. I to am disabled i have spinna biffida but thats not the whole reason i've never really been a camping fan. And i'm to old for ruffing it now lol i've got 25 years on georgia and ive now got arthritis from my nexk to my fingers and in my back wich doesnt help or do me any favours. And i know how she feels when she says shes in pain i really do some days i carnt get out of bed either. #imajunkie fan aswell.
What coolbox do you use?
We use an electric one from Aldi think it was about £30ish. I think the one in this video was from Go Outdoors but it stopped working. I love Aldi and Lidl's camping range - you get 3-year warranty too 😊
