Best channels on UA-cam, many fools want to learn how to earn thousands of dollars but only few people want to learn how to SAVE thousands of dollars. It's the same thing people! Learning how to take care of my vehicle saved me tens of thousands of dollars that I can spend on other stuff!!

I have this problem right now my car is a Prado 120 2003 3ltr 1kzte engine I have removed the jet pump and it’s not blocked and tested my car does not have the electric pump in tank or inline filter as per your video it uses the return line from the injector pump to start the jet pump Venturi so many times I have been stuck with fuel in the rear tank when I fill up at a servo I can only get 20 ltrs in the tank due to air lock and spit out of filler.
If I blow a small amount of compressed air down the vent line it will start the fuel transfer and the car will be fin for awhile I have replaced the vent check valve in rear tank

Had the fuel transfer pump fail on a 2012 Altitude at 233k. The symptoms were a ‘Check Fuel System’ warning message with the gauge showing half full. Fuel would only trickle in with a gurgling sound. Only about 20L in 10-15 minutes. New transfer pump and problem fixed. Perhaps a video on this if you get a chance. Thanks.

Yeh my 2016 prado is currently doing the same thing. Fill it over half a tank and light goes out. Once i use it down to half the light stats flashing. Once i fuel it above half way on the guage it starts gurgling and foaming up keeps clicking the bowser nozzle off and takes me forever to fill the tanks. Vehicle still runs good just a pain in the ass. Has to be the pump right?

2010 GXL. Having the same problem as you two. Is it just the fuel transfer pump that needs replacing? Do I have to worry about draining the fuel tanks when replacing it?

Yep, have had the filter block, breather block, split fuel transfer hose AND the little specs in the siphon tiny hole in the pump!
But now got the dreaded running out of fuel on the highway with tank still having three quarters remaining. Have replaced both breather and filter but still problem persists intermittently!!
Do they have a fuel cap vent? When 1 tank is used, what's preventing air being siphoned with main tank only in operation?
    Loving your videos.
    Cheers

I have a 2010 150series Prado and seem to be having a fuel issue. I recently had the fuel transfer pump changed during the week as an on going issue that i would read between 160km’s -180km’s on the range. Today I was at 170km’s on the range and Prado completely lost power like it had no fuel. I towed the car to the servo and filled the car back up and it took 106L which meant there was 44L left in the tank. Can a breather issue prevent the remaining diesel in the Aux tank to be transferred to the main tank
    Cheers
    Daniel from the Pilbara

Hi Daniel, we're having the exact same issue and have spent over $5000 with TOYOTA. I'm now searching online for answers. Have you managed to fix your problem and if so, what did you do? REALLY value your response please. We're desperate!

    2016 Prado Diesel.
Went to a Toyota service for the 150k service and ended up with the fuel transfer issue!
Took it back to Toyota service - and they replaced the fuel line system for free (Toyota recall - I believe) and I asked does that include the “breather”. They confirmed yes.
The problem still persisted - so took it back again - issue solved - blocked “breather”
    Two lessons learnt.
    Avoid Toyota Service departments
Have a look yourself and watch all Fourby4Diesel videos
    Keep up the great work
