The timing of this video could not have been more perfect! Currently in the midst of planning the next few years of my time in undergrad, and am consider a gap year. We share many of the same values in terms of traveling and learning, and I love this channel so much! I am confident you will be a great physician. Best of luck!
Good video! Do you think you could’ve had a lot of these experiences during your undergrad? (Like during summer/winter breaks) Or was it important to have the entire 2 years off?
Some of the experiences I’ve had required a long-term commitment (e.g., volunteering for Ocean Bridge, running a small business, backpacking), so it was important to take the years off. And I was already involved in a lot of extracurricular activities in undergrad so I wouldn’t have been able to take on extra projects on top of them! However, I think that self-development experiences like improving my art and music skills could have been done during undergrad! It depends on what you want to get out of your experiences 😊

안녕하세요! 저는 2010년에 이민을 왔습니다 😊 한국인이 거의 없는 지역에서 자라서 영어를 금방 습득할 수 있었던것 같아요 ㅎㅎ
