My theory is that the girl was being made fun of on Halloween and ran into the forest to hide but she stepped in a bear trap and fell into the little valley thing and bled out the last thing she did was eat a candy that said “you found me” so she died confused and unsatisfied and thus she haunted the night she died sad and alone but a little boy saw her and chose to become friends with her which at first was innocent but sooner or later his parents began to believe he was schizophrenic and the called a doctor sad that nobody believed that his friend was real he ran to a hill he and the girl had “eaten” candy on and wanting to show him that he wasn’t insane she lead him to where she died and he ate a sweet. The sweet said “I found you “ he looked over to see the girl’s sweet and it said. “You found me” her ghost can now rest and the boy and the girl’s dead body is found.
Well pretty much a ghost because the girl was real (in the missing Halloween) and I think got stuck in a bear trap or something and died. That tree was her final resting place.
Ever since that halloween film was out that first year I always watch it yearly. Its amazing, adorable and sad all at the same time. I can tell a lot of thought and detail was put into making it!

I like the ending. It's good to know that those devastated parents and family members will get the closure they deserve. To know their baby girl wasn't trafficked, beaten, raped, or murdered. She died because she wandered into the woods and the bear traps killed her. Hopefully it was quick and painless. Poor girl.... P.S: I think the parents should sue the city board. There was clearly a rip in that fence that the little girl used to get into the woods. If that rip was never there, she wouldn't have died. At least, not like that. Here's my theory about missing Halloween The girl was dead for a very long time in the last halloween when he and she were sitting on the ground you can see that she had a bleeding leg not both only one and as you know at the beginning his mom takes a picture of the boy she did not knew that he was talking to a girl because she was a ghost so she took a picture of him and saw her and then they walk away so you must be wondering why the girl go in the bear traps she did that because she wanted to take him to her dead body so the people can start finding the boy and then they can find the dead body of the girl also she used here ghost power to make the bear traps disappear so the boy can't get hurt and the reason of why every candy they eat the girl always have a *you found me letter* that explains that the boy found the dead body also the girl was missing for a 1 year just for the next Halloween come and she came to the boy's house at the next Halloween.

I know the creators explanation but my own theory as to why she was in the forest wraps it all together. He met her last halloween while she was alive. She'd sat outside on the curb outside his house after reading his parents note to play with friends. Now as he approaches her after scaring her some and shared candy...the wrapper says "You found me" and after a laugh at his own wrapper they decide to play hide and seek given his parents note to play and her wrapper seems logical they'd want to play that game as many kids do. It was to late however as kids were headed home and she needed to get home. They had promised to play hide and seek though next year. She'd been home with her family but snuck out to a secret place of her own in the forest. She had known of the cut fence and the traps in the forest but was unafraid. She'd navigated her way through the forest under the moons light when she'd been startled by a noise and saw a wild animal eyeing her. Frightened she ran running from her pursuer with her heart pounding. Then suddenly as she looked back to see that the animal was gone giving up the chase she missed the trap that ultimately sealed her fate. She cried out in pain and stumbled down the hill that opened up on clearing surrounded by apple trees with one line tree that bore no fruits but had the moon shine upon it. She cried out in pain and looked to her leg ensnared by a bear trap the spike pulled free from the ground in her fall. She was in pain tears ran freely down her face as she cried out into the night for help that wouldn't come she knew. She'd managed to pull herself crying and dirty passed a nearby small pond to the tree panting and crying from pain bleeding so heavily from her crushed leg. The pain began to ebb away she knew she was dying but she didn't want to die! She'd leave her family and she didn't want to leave them she didn't want to die! Then she remembered Nick that boy she'd met and him giving her candy and the wrapper. Alone and trapped as she was her eyes were blurred as darkness was beginning to now encroach at the edges of her eyes. She took out the wrapper and couldn't help but smile despite her situation. She was different from other girls as she and them never got along and thought boys were stupid but Nick was different. She choked up as he was her only friend. He'd found her beaten up as he was by other kids. He'd shared his candy and there on the wrapper "You found me"silly as it was as she was dying she smiled and wished then he'd find her and that they could spend just one more halloween together and keep their promise. Next halloween she got that wish to keep that promise and her lonely soul trapped having died alone wanting to spend halloween with him her friend was then free as he'd found her. This was to cover my idea as to why she was in the forest as if you pay attention signs were there of wild animals, traps, and if you pay attention the trees appeared to have what you could call apples except where she layed. The end.

The next Halloween, the boy was still able to see her for some reason (probably because he knew her and was friends with her the last Halloween) and trick or treated with her. She got no candy, so it got the boy confused. A few moments later, we discover that he had been imagining her the entire time. Angered and confused, the boy ran away and disappeared with the girl. She entered the “DANGER” zone, so it made the boy want to follow her (probably out of curiosity). And that’s when he found her corpse. Of course, in his eyes, it wasn’t a corpse but was actually the girl herself.

Here's my theory about missing Halloween
The girl was dead for a very long time in the last halloween when he and she were sitting on the ground you can see that she had a bleeding leg not both only one and as you know at the beginning his mom takes a picture of the boy she did not knew that he was talking to a girl because she was a ghost so she took a picture of him and saw her and then they walk away so you must be wondering why the girl go in the bear traps she did that because she wanted to take him to her dead body so the people can start finding the boy and then they can find the dead body of the girl also she used here ghost power to make the bear traps disappear so the boy can't get hurt and the reason of why every candy they eat the girl always have a *you found me letter* that explains that the boy found the dead body also the girl was missing for a 1 year just for the next Halloween come and she came to the boy's house at the next Halloween.

I know the creators explanation but my own theory as to why she was in the forest wraps it all together. He met her last halloween while she was alive. She'd sat outside on the curb outside his house after reading his parents note to play with friends. Now as he approaches her after scaring her some and shared candy...the wrapper says "You found me" and after a laugh at his own wrapper they decide to play hide and seek given his parents note to play and her wrapper seems logical they'd want to play that game as many kids do. It was to late however as kids were headed home and she needed to get home. They had promised to play hide and seek though next year. She'd been home with her family but snuck out to a secret place of her own in the forest. She had known of the cut fence and the traps in the forest but was unafraid. She'd navigated her way through the forest under the moons light when she'd been startled by a noise and saw a wild animal eyeing her. Frightened she ran running from her pursuer with her heart pounding. Then suddenly as she looked back to see that the animal was gone giving up the chase she missed the trap that ultimately sealed her fate. She cried out in pain and stumbled down the hill that opened up on clearing surrounded by apple trees with one line tree that bore no fruits but had the moon shine upon it. She cried out in pain and looked to her leg ensnared by a bear trap the spike pulled free from the ground in her fall. She was in pain tears ran freely down her face as she cried out into the night for help that wouldn't come she knew. She'd managed to pull herself crying and dirty passed a nearby small pond to the tree panting and crying from pain bleeding so heavily from her crushed leg. The pain began to ebb away she knew she was dying but she didn't want to die! She'd leave her family and she didn't want to leave them she didn't want to die! Then she remembered Nick that boy she'd met and him giving her candy and the wrapper. Alone and trapped as she was her eyes were blurred as darkness was beginning to now encroach at the edges of her eyes. She took out the wrapper and couldn't help but smile despite her situation. She was different from other girls as she and them never got along and thought boys were stupid but Nick was different. She choked up as he was her only friend. He'd found her beaten up as he was by other kids. He'd shared his candy and there on the wrapper "You found me"silly as it was as she was dying she smiled and wished then he'd find her and that they could spend just one more halloween together and keep their promise. Next halloween she got that wish to keep that promise and her lonely soul trapped having died alone wanting to spend halloween with him her friend was then free as he'd found her. This was to cover my idea as to why she was in the forest as if you pay attention signs were there of wild animals, traps, and if you pay attention the trees appeared to have what you could call apples except where she layed. The end.
惡魔玫瑰 I understand that but the creator himself said she was alive the Halloween they met. I like the idea she was already dead when they met. The creators explanation left holes in the story to many I made my own idea to pull the whole story together AND keep his story the same is all.

Basic summary for anyone who is still a bit confused:
Last Halloween, the boy met the girl while she was still alive, and became friends. After they parted ways, that was most likely when she went into the “DANGER” zone, stepped on a bear trap, and bled out and died on that tree. Her last meal being the candy that had the note written “You found me”. The next Halloween, the boy was still able to see her for some reason (probably because he knew her and was friends with her the last Halloween) and trick or treated with her. She got no candy, so it got the boy confused. A few moments later, we discover that he had been imagining her the entire time. Angered and confused, the boy ran away and disappeared with the girl. She entered the “DANGER” zone, so it made the boy want to follow her (probably out of curiosity). And that’s when he found her corpse. Of course, in his eyes, it wasn’t a corpse but was actually the girl herself.
