How did you transition from puree to baby led weaning? My girl is 10 months old and I'm still spoon feeding her. I'm scared she'll choke and her teeth haven't come out yet...
Sorry , I know your question was for Marah but I thought I’d share.
I was scared to start baby led weaning too! I gradually started increasing the textures of purées until they got more chunky so my baby got used to it. Then I started giving really soft pieces of foods like avocados, breads, steamed veggies and fruit. They will learn how to gum the foods. They also gag a lot a first and that’s normal while they learn. I still watch my baby so closely when he eats and he’s almost a year old.
@@ranak5990 thank you for your input💓 I'll try to allow her to eat on her own. I steam veggies and then mash too. But I hate the mess. I should get the messy mat and just stop being controlling so she can be independent
