Just spent the last few days in Paris. I've been there multiple times and rarely to never seen that much trash. Not much more than in other cities after all. It's a beautiful city with great things to do and see and I don't get all the hate. They have issues with getting rid of trash in some areas, yes, but they also have some of the most stunning sights and architecture in Europe. Things aren't just black and white, people. On that note: the dirtiest cities I've ever been to are New York City and New Orleans - by a mile. Far, far worse than Paris. And they're still among my favorites in the world :)
And what all 3 cities have in common is, dense population which makes it an uphill battle against litter and garbage. However, it's not totally an excuse and cities like Paris have enough workers to clean all of it up.
People absolutely LOVE to shit on France, especially Paris. I bet the clips of the trash were taken after a football match night or during a weekend or something...
@@anthonyparadiso1a Unfortunately, our city workers are lazy ahh, they spend their time doing nothing, chatting together or on their phone. If you post clips of them online to show how "efficient" they are, people go for your throat and call you "racist".
I just came back today and was in Paris for 5 days. I've had a great time and was pleasantly surprised by Paris. It is beautiful and there was a great atmosphere! Lovely people, nice streets and many great things to see. I haven't seen any trash. Trash cans were cleaned everywhere and the streets looked well! Well done Paris!
Thank you! You said exactly what I was thinking! People love to hate and only focus on the negative aspects of cities. I rather have a little trash on the streets of a big city than visit some boring small town in the Midwest overran with parking lots, chain restaurants and strip malls.

The first time in 2019, it was gorgeous, but earlier this year, it looked rough, but I also left just a few hours before the riots officially started, it turns out (where half the city was on fire).

Paris is a fairly nice city with nice people so long as you arent entitled and rude, and are open to learning about new cultures and ways of life. The trash can be a problem, but it depends on where you are, and it is a problem in many major cities. Comparatively, it isnt terrible and if you focus on things other than complaining I think you'll enjoy it. That being said, Paris is one of the most toured cities in the world, making it very difficult to keep up with the trash constantly being produced by tourists! So, thank you for not going back and making it better. 😊 Less of you is good!
