I don't understand what you say at the end re aftermarket radio needing a kit to replace the silver panel, isn't just the radio replaced and panel put back in its original position?
@audiesgirl If you want to go back with original style of radio, if you are replacing it with a say a touchscreen it requires a trim kit to fit properly.
What about the airbag sensor when you replace the trim for a single din radio. How does that reset? Or how do you get that removed without triggering the sensor? Thanks
Hey got a problem there is only two wires in the back of the radio the big one and the antenna but the other big one is not there. Where would it be located?
Why's there no way to change the preset radio stations on my 2013 fiesta s sedan I am stuck with the stations that are there when I bought the car used in November 2021 some of the stations are not even set on stations can not figure out what is going on
Thanks for this and now a question please ... I ordered and installed the radio component; stereo still didn't work. Now I have paid a mechanic who ordered another radio component; still no success (we are now at the $450 mark). The mechanic said he checked ALL of the components and could not find an issue; the radio simply does not work. He is not, however, an audio mechanic so I am now wondering if perhaps the issue is the front control panel? I can order one on EBAY, but as you know there's a hook up to the passenger airbag on back of said panel. Can I go ahead and unplug that (from the original panel) then replug it into the new panel without any consequences (eg. air bag would still work)? Please advise and thanks!

What antenna connector does the radio use? I'm installing a dab and will splitt the antenna drom there. I know about the phantom power from the dab. Do the radio itself send out power via the coax?

I would like know please, if works? I want to change because the Sony panel is more Beautiful...
Valério Paula you can but you still won't have Bluetooth or sync. That's from a sync module which is installed below the glovebox/compartment and connected by a separate loom to the back of the stereo and USB cable in the centre console.
Hi, I bought a aftermarket android unit. Since I fitted the steering wheel commands don’t work anymore, the power folding mirrors don’t shut on locking the car and I cannot change km to miles or etc . Do you know how can i sort this ? Any idea on the diagram of the original radio? The seller said to check the wiring diagram but no idea what to compare to 🥺
I can't get any sound out and radio was turn on after popping and cracking noise I removed baterry and now there's no noise but still doesn't turn on. whats my cheapest option? just aftermarket?
My first Fiesta was solved by replacing the control panel. However, my second one was not that lucky. I'm waiting on the actual CD unit to come to see if that will solve it.
LauraAJE143 yeah its a nightmare but i took my raido out like this guy did but nothing happend =( now got some bass in the car so its not bad just gotta get the raido on before hand =) good luck hope it works for you.

Does your radio just randomly let out loud "bleeerps" and static? Even if it is off? If so, it's the radio. I ended up just ripping it out.

The exact same thing happened to me.
went to the junk yard had the same car and got the radio out of it with the controls and it worked instantly

Same here in my 2011.
went to the junk yard and found same car just replaced the radio and button area thats attached and for $80 it worked instantly just plugs in same way
I have no noise in my 2011 se radio. Pressing buttons does nothing. Just ordered a new. No feedback noise. Just nothing.

lol happens every day get in car on then car off open door and will disconect to phone then shut door car back on an will work
