- A lengthy and slow-speed pursuit came to an end after nearly two hours on Friday after CHP officers shot pepper balls through the back of a suspected DUI driver's vehicle before taking him into custody.
You know one way to address policing shortages COULD BE to not spend 12-14 officers doing a merry go round for 2-3 hours at a time and reduce turn around time!
quotas also put people in danger, causing duress on officers, causing them to feel a need to make stuff up to keep their jobs... for profit not safety...
obviously no crimes were commited during the whole pursuit?
will someone please call Arkansas State Police? this can be resolved in 3.5 minutes. smfh.
They had plenty of opportunities to surround and box him in.... police policies are a joke and the criminals know it.
Every day with these pursuits in So Cal!! SO embarrassing! There must be minimal legal repercussions for these drivers because they continue to do it DAILY! Too bad they never have a follow-up to what these drivers get sentenced to in court.. I'm guessing probation and time served for first offenders!
NOT a chase, it's a follow. Stop calling it a pursuit. This is embarrassing to real police officers around the country.

Whoever is the police chief of that area needs to be fired. That was embarrassing to watch, the police had a ridiculous number of opportunities to end this but instead, their police chief thought it was a better idea to simply follow the guy?? We need transparency, just how much does this nonsense cost us tax payers??

LAPD allowed a 15yr old teenager to "run from cops" last week. She wiped out at 100mph and 2 people are dead.
@@metal--babble346 Wow, I must've missed that one. There have been many car "chases" lately. One a few weeks ago caused two bad accidents before the car became disabled, the officers had many opportunities to end that one as well but were advised against it. I understand safety protocols but come on, the guy in this video slowed down and stopped many times, why are they not allowed anymore to engage??
