- This isn't my normal type of video edit, but while in Gulf Shores I never did get out the GoPro to film everything. Instead I took some short random videos with my iPhone of the dinners and cooking we did throughout the week and put them together. This was a get together for both mine and Abby's family for spring break. We also experienced the worst hail storm we've ever been through while there! It was crazy and very lucky that we had very little damage to the truck and Kodiak.
I think the thing that makes your cooking so enjoyable to watch is the changes in your methods. Whether it's the Lodge hibachi grill, the pit barrel, smokey joe, or dutch oven, you never know what you will be using next. Congrats on the 2 year anniversary.
Absolutely! That’s something I enjoy about my cooking is choosing the methods that I feel like pulling off each time. I also enjoy learning new things, trying new recipes, and doing things I havnt done before. 👍🏻
You can probably easily go a month without making the same thing twice. That is so exciting. I love seeing your new recipes. It’s been a while since you’ve done a low country boil. Any chance another one is coming up soon?
Adam I was watching one of you videos from back when I think you first started. I was struck by this video because I didn’t see the natural happiness i see in your face now. I gotta believe it’s because of Abby. We’re very happy for you and feel like you are both going to enjoy each other for years to come. God Bless you both on your anniversary.
Your videos make me so envious. Congrats on 2 years.
Happy Anniversary y'all. I get hunger every time I watch one of your videos lol.
WAIT...what!?...No aftermath of conquering that cinnamon roll!? That was a beauty!
Love the food vids....but CONGRATS on 2 years!!! Glad the hail was "gentle" on y'all!!
I am envious of your cast iron (Dutch oven) cooking. I have just purchased my Lodge 12" and look forward to using it.
Happy Anniversary! I am envious there too. Keep having fun.
Great! It’s a fun way to cook some delicious meals 👍🏻
Bbq folks : If you are looking, it ain't cooking!
Adam: I'll take a video of it! And pictures! Nice shot! Open it again!
LOL!
It still cooks and eats, I prove it every cook 😁
Happy 2 year anniversary! Wow everything looked amazing!
Awesome, that’s some really good looking food!, well done guys.
You guys make a great couple!!! Hope the hail didn't do too much damage to you truck and your trailer
That’s it, I’m quitting my job and traveling to all the rv parks in the country in hopes of finding Adam there cooking. I’m tired of looking at all this perfect food and not eating any of it
Let me know when you are leaving and I'll join you!
I've got the RV if you guys chip in for gas.
Sure would smell so good camping around you all.... Always cooking some amazing foods.
Living life. Good for you!
Great video mate, love how you put it all together
The Abom cinnamon roll. - Absolutely heck yes!
Good work!
Good job you guys. So happy to see shot #2!
Well, happy anniversary you two.
Great eats, good times! Congratulations!
I would go into a food coma after eating all that good looking food! Enjoyed your video my friend!
Everyone eats, every day. It’s all about moderation.
Food looks great you cook. I bet it was good.
Great video!! Love the cooking tutorials.
Well done! Congratulations for two years!
Glad you made it through the storm ok! Congrats on 2 years! Another great video, thanks!
Happy Anniversary you two!
That's some great looking food there.
Happy Anniversary y'all two!!!
Happy 2 year Anniversary to you guys.
Happy Anniversary, really just good to see some traditional southern cooking and a Saint's shirt.
Congratulations on #2 to a wonderful, happy couple. Glad the hail storm didn't do much damage.
Adam.... That was a lot of hard work right there!!! Delicious outcome I'm sure but hard work from start to finish!!!! Cleanup is a great feeling once you see all that cast iron oiled and stowed away!
Hope all's well with the hail...
I swear that sounds like someone dropping bags of ice-cubes on your trailer...
You might need an only fans account for your FOOD PORN!
🤙🏻Thanks for sharing with the world! Love and Respect from Colorado wine country!
Hail yes, wind is blowing from north pole now, everyone gets cold. Stay safe.
Yeah for you and shot two! I knew you were one smart machinist.
Happy Anniversary... :-)
happy anniversary!
👌 Congratulations to both of you 🌟 I think you're great for each other. Happy Anniversary ❤️ ken nc
Happy anniversary kids! Me and Mrs. Bigdog celebrated 20 in March.
That hail had to leave some marks ...we had hail a few years ago that totaled every car out....broke the glass and beat up the metal so bad the new glass wouldn't fit
Congratulations on your anniversary! Nobody goes hungry at an Abom cookout. I'll bet you had people from other RVs begging for leftovers. Hopefully your truck and trailer aren't dimpled like golf balls after all that hail.
KUDOS to you guys for getting vaccinated and showing it on your channel. Wish more people would use their heads and listen to the science.
Wow, hope there wasn't any coach aluminum damages to the roof or body damage to the trucks, big hail balls and much lightning. Best way to cook corn on the cob, in the husk over coals ! That's not a cinnamon roll, that's a cinnamon roll cake ! Happy anniversary folks.
I love summertime corn. Soak it in salt water for a little while then cook it on the grill. 👍🏻
@@AbomAdventures When we cook it that way, there is no need for butter or anything else, they are so sweet on their own and very juicy.
Yep you’re right. Seems like I mentioned that in a video last year but can’t be sure.
@@AbomAdventures I think we did talk about it some, mostly the husk idea. Not many have thought to try them without butter etc. and have them totally untouched out of the husk.
I just put on 5lbs watching. All looks good.
You two are the best!...b
Nurse had No Gloves on?!? 😳 WTF!?
Love the look on his face he is at peak performance for a man at that age
Cool :)
Holy, that's a lot of good lookin' food... :-)
Being a man of simple needs I'd cook up some Corn Bread in the Dutch Oven.
Gotta pick and choose your battles 👍🏻
Good thing I already ate or else I'd be taking a bite outta the screen. : - )
Realize this was made some time ago but how ironic it comes out today when almost everybody here in Louisville is outside cooking at all the the Ky. Derby day parties. Derby day at the track is mostly for out of towners, most locals has a party somewhere to go to. Weather is glorious today, 80 degrees and sunny. Going to see a fast track at Churchill Downs for some of the fastest Horses on the Planet all day long.
Great video, my friend! Enjoyed watching, your cooking and bushcraft skills are terrific! And the surrounding nature is amazing. Cheers from Russia, Abom, and welcome to my channel about special Russian bushcraft tips and hacks! Kind Regards, Yuriy!
That hail was painfullto watch
What kind of grill is that on the Weber BBQ, something you fabricated?
Adam,
Did you cut your grill grates so they would fit inside the circular shape of the little Weber?
I seem to only find the grates in rectangular shapes
I am heading dow to gulf shores at the end of May for our family vacation. Staying in Kiva Dunes this year. I do a steak and shrimp cookout for the family every year from farm fresh meats of course. Do you have any recommendations for meat and seafood or stick with what I know is good with farm fresh haha.
Adam & Abbey, happy 2nd anniversary! Adam, any hail damage on that nice Ram Cummins??? or RV?
A few dents in the truck, luckily the camper came out ok.
So, uh, what camp ground ya'll gonna be at next?😋😋😋
asking for a friend no doubt hahahaha
Congratulations on 2 years, and thank you for doing your part and getting vaccinated!
We see aunt Dee, but it's not the same if we don't hear her :(
Adan, where did you get the sear grate you use on your Weber Smokey Joe?
I bought from Grillgrates.com
Gracias!
I was wondering how many people are you cooking for???
Does your truck have any dents from that hail storm?
Do you have a support vehicle that carries all the cooking equipment
It’s a cargo carrier on the back of our RV with some plastic bins. I keep all the cooking equipment in there.
@@AbomAdventures Awesome sir love the content
Thank you and Abby for doing your part and getting Vaccinated!
Spoiler Alert....you will be salivating watching this video!!...Perfect in many ways...im so hungry Adam... Too sober for this LOL Abby....Awesome...Cheers, Blessings....ps: How aboot the Jags win it Big...you know what i mean LOL... Trevor and Tim Eh!.....Wait for it!!
CONGRATULATIONS! Adam Abby... Blessings!
Any damage to the trailer\truck?
Did your truck get all dented from the hail?
I found a few yes. Not too bad.
How do I join your family? Delicious! Cheers!
Where did you stay,?
What happened to the chocolate cake?
There it is.
The family loves those basic cakes cooked in the Dutch oven!
Omg that chicken looks bomb! Congrats on second vax! Love you guys.
Vaccine is a great move. Wife ended up on vent for 2 weeks and hospital for 9 weeks is going to scare a 1 million dollar hospital bill. No vaccine = no brains. Thank God for good insurance.
Dam you eat good, do you want to adopt a brother. lol
Great job you both getting vaccinated guys. I like in the Uk and had my first jab a couple weeks back. I honestly didn’t even notice the needle going in as I was chatting away with the two nurses. It was almost like the lady just threw the needle in the sharps box but she assured me I’d had it haha.
Congrats you two on your Second! I had mine 2 weeks ago.. had a strong cytokine reaction for about 18 hours, but a tiny bit of time with discomfort for live saving protection. That Storm! They love to follow you don't they? I bet southern California would pay you to bring tit to them. ^.^ I love the video, and thank you for your hard work to make it for us.
Thank you for getting vaccinated. Every shot helps everyone get through this.
I would love less food and more sightseeing.
My videos are what they are. Some are about cooking and some about traveling. I just make the videos I feel like making, like a freestyle type of channel.
@@AbomAdventures not complaining I like your videos
Hell no, Adam, just keep up what you are doing. You have a great balance between traveling, doing, and cooking. Keep up the great work.
@@rjw8316 that was 5 months ago. I love his videos.
America. An ode to laziness and food. Don't blame you though it's seductive. Everything is so easy, as long as you keep consuming. Once you have to stop for any reason, god help you.
Not just America, all over the world. Just watch some PBS shows and you’ll see.
