I have been riding a 270 Sxf that HP built for me a couple of years ago and it is a great motor with big gains everywhere. I recently swapped over to a rebuilt stock head Athena bb cylinder and it definitely doesn't pull off the bottom as hard and probably slightly down on power overall. Time to rebuild the HP modified head and jug, they are superior to other options I have tried. I would expect the same results for the 23s, so anyone on the fence should go ahead and do it, you won't be disappointed in the performance.
hi, did you said REPLATE? i am from Romania, Europe and looking for a company in Europe in case i will need for my Yamaha R6, wouldn't want to throw the engine away if plating craks. Do you happen to know any replating company in Europe, because i didn't find any :(
In Europe there are also companies that do it. I live in the Netherlands, here we have powerseal and ATM cylinders. Both have prices listed on their website
