Downtown Meridian was the first city skyline I saw at 6 or 7 back in the early 80s and I saw it coming up US 45 (now MS 145) from the south. I was mesmerized.
I am thrilled the high rise downtown is now a great looking hotel. Meridian had made progress and its great to see the progress. I know much more has to be done.
This is where David Ruffin is from. He was in the group "The Temptations." I saw in the video a street named after him. I just wanted to point that out. Meridian looks like a decent place. Great video!👍🏾

I use to live on 25th ave.and 16 th street in the white two story house/apartments
My favorite place to visit while in meridian is mums ( meridian underground music)!!!❤❤❤❤
