Wow tedious work but amazing how important this cleaning contributes such benefits to the well being of the machine. God bless you, you sure are a wise man and set a good example for me to keep my (sewing) machine clean and it wont act up on me lol. God is is right, there is no reward in laziness but rather reap His reward when we are diligent. 😁🙏💛 #ilearnedSumthing2day #thankyou
I might have missed seeing one so far but have you considered doing a video on how to do a blade alignment? I bought my Lt40 used so I've missed more then a few of the maintenance processes being 100% self taught. Like this video is great! I didn't even know there were grease points inside the the control panel lol. One of my first logs was a 40" X 15' red oak, pretty sure I messed the blade alignment doing that nightmare of a log (WAY too big for a standard LT40S)
Didn't miss anything, but that's a good idea for a video. The WM manuals do cover a lot of info, but they're not the best organized so it's easy to miss stuff.
@@DeannaDDuren probably need a good cleaning, sometimes if there's a lot of gunk you can push it around and make it worse. Use lots of qtips and alcohol. Be very thin with the grease, a lil goes a long way
Look after your tools, and your tools will look after you. Thanks for sharing.
Definitely!
Love your videos sir, and appreciate the info you share.

Should the battery be disconnected down by this type of work?
everybody always says to disconnect the battery for any electrical work, but I never do
Nice tip
Is that just dielectric grease? Dont think my 99 super has that in the cover
It's not, but not sure what the difference is. Call up WM they can get you a cup
Should try your leaf blower to clean it out first
very helpful, thx, though you do need an x-ray camera, because your hand is in the way
Kjo69pooloolloooooo99
the older mizers had a nice access for mice.........talk about making a mess of the controls
I believe I need to do this to my wood mizer I have never greased it
Mine wont go forward or backwards without me pushing it myself
Can I blow it really good first then clean the contacts
This is why I always have to replace my switches

Deanna During, I haven't greesed mine either and my LT40 is 36 years old. But looking at them this morning I guess I should have.
If WM was not so cheap they would put in Gold contacts. But cheap , Cheap, Cheap.
