Sorry for immodesty, but I think that bike mirror that I came up is unbeatable. And it is only a matter of time when it'll disseminated. It is free of all defects, which has conventional bicycle mirrors. I mean the limited field of view, image content independent of the will of the rider and only the position of the handlebar and obscure the view by the cyclist shoulder or by a jacket sleeve or by trousers etc. Anyway, see for yourself: YT: unique bike mirror

A better idea would be a small screen on the handlebars with a camera at the back, these exist for cars, donno about bikes.
Yes. Cheap cams can be had. The issue seems to be that LCD screens are only readable in shade, like the inside of a car. Something needs to be worked out. Little effort seems to be taking place in this area.

This is a surprisingly limited design. I see no horizontal adjustment at all. And a woman wearing a skirt, or a man in baggy pants, would find it totally useless. Pass on this.
Wow. No matter how hard you to put a positive spin on the mirror location, all the demonstration did was show me how much I really don't like it. Nice try at a bad idea. sorry.
why not have it so there is a mirror on both sides?
That would be called "Buying two mirrors and putting one on each side", I suspect.

Wouldn't work for me. I'm a large cyclist. Helmet mirror is the best.

This Bike-Eye mirror is the biggest load of shit ever.
I just got this very mirror fitted into my racer bike today and all I can see in the mirror is my right leg.
I cannot see any vehicle behind me at all
all I see is my right knee , that's it .
Total waste of money.
