I am 80, I loved James Darren soooooo much! To this day (2023) I don't think any one is now or has been cuter. Never met him but I've read/heard that he is very nice and never rude to his fans, or anyone. Love 'ya Moondoggie. He and Sandra were such a cute couple. He ended up having a very nice life, Sandra's life filled with sorrow.
This was all my doing and how l told him your fans love to hear from you and reply back. What happen l was on Facebook and typed James Darren. l asked certain questions only he would know and he said...l'm the one and only Moondoggie. So, l kept asking questions he told me he liked Sandra, but her mother was over protected. l asked him why he didn't have a Walk of Fame Star, he mentioned he would've to paid for it. l told him since he was very popular and a star, l thought Hollywood would just give it to him. Since l'm an artist l made him one from Bobby Darin Star, l taken a photo of from Las Vegas in 2007. l told him your fans would love to hear from you on Facebook, then l noticed something. He was in my hometown in Baltimore, Maryland at the Atlantic Nostaglia Convention Center in Hunt Valley. Every September celebrities attend a meet and greet with fans. l hurried to get dressed told my daughter to put her foot on the gas. l saw the other celebrities but l stayed right by our Moondoggie, l wished l could've met his wife Evy. l told him you're not low key anymore and he appreciated, me putting him on blast. He was so nice and l kept hugging him and l gave him a photo of myself. l told him once he get back to the hotel room, then he would know it was me. Yes, he gave me a shout out, because l finally had the chance not only to chat with him on Facebook, but met him as well in person. His son Jim Moret works as a reporter for Inside Edition. l cut class in High School just to see Gidget, grateful my mother didn't come home early.
Unlike sandra Dee, he found happiness, however there was only One and only GIDGET! Starring the cutest pixie Sandra Dee, the handsome heartthrob James Darren. Wishing James and his family the happiness he deserves.

So honor and grateful to finally meet James Darren in person, when he came to Baltimore for Nostalgic Celebrities Event...he is just so humble and nice, l just happen to be scrolling on Facebook and happen to see his page...it said Jeffery Matthew (Moondoggie character name) and l left a message and he chat back, he told me he was keeping a low profile...l told him we as fans love you and l did a tribute video for him and his wife...then he start noticing his page with all those fans comments, yes l put him on blast to come out his shell...again while scrolling through his page l noticed the background and told my daughter, Moondoggie was here in Baltimore...my daughter know how much l liked him and even back in my high school years, cut class to see him in Gidget...my daughter put her foot on gas pedal, told me to breathe l was shaking like a leaf...since we live in Baltimore and the event was about 10 minutes away, the staff the women told me everyone was waiting to see Mr. Darren...l sneak away from my daughter and her friend, race down the stairs and taken a clear photo of him...then present myself to him as Theresa on Facebook, l told him here's my photo and when you go back to the hotel...because he was meeting a lot of people would know who l am, my daughter found me and she introduced herself to him and explained how much l had her watching his movies...l did manage to take photos of Ron Ely, Jay North etc...but stayed by Mr. Darren space until it was time to go, her friend taken our photo it came out a little blurry, but my photos are on Facebook...also, l wasn't nervous and enjoyed talking to him in 2011!!!

Whenever you do a video, you can choose the song not from the singer that fits the video better. Don't ever come on my page calling me dumb and disrespecting a video to a legendary singer that l met in person. Jimmy Darren was my teenage crush. Finally met him in An antique store in Mullica Hill. He was so handsome and such a gentleman. I will always remember him. Rest in peace❤
