- Hey folks! This could be a guide if you decide to change your own oil. Althought I must disclaim that I am not a mechanic...so if you do not feel comfortable doing this, take it to an actual mechanic.

We DIYers learned a long time ago to use either a drop cloth or a large piece of cardboard under the car in addition to the drain pan.
It takes me a while to learn lol
very authentic, personable, and fun to watch and learn. thank you
Thank you
If a 1-1/16" socket is not available in ones tool kit, I would purchase a 27 mm which is the actually exact metric size.
Nice! I just bought a 2021. This helps. Thanks.
Glad it helped!
Nice video - at least you don’t need a new size cap wrench for the filter. I use a big piece of cardboard under the car to catch all the oil drips.
You used a 5/16 ,8mm to drain for oil filter ?
You remove the small bolt BEFORE removing the filter. It drains the housing thats why you get another with filter.
Wwe super star
What power washer did you use? Looking to get one
Just a simple electric one from Walmart. It's back in automotive
Hey mate. In Australia if you do your own services whilst in warranty it will void it. You either take it to the dealer or mechanic for the warranty period. It's it different in the states?
It will not void your warranty as long as you use the Hyundai recommendations.
Also, I think you are my first Aussie commenter so thank you!
@@DadbrosGarage Ah ok. Yeah if we did that here, then took it to a dealer they would just simply say you didn't get it serviced at a qualified work shop. We have no leg to stand on 😥
@@paulmcgaw6976 Hey Hyundai gives us the 100k mile warrantly and I have 35k to so so hopefully I'll be alright.
@@DadbrosGarage hmmmm... Yeah that's interesting. If something goes bang here and you roll up to the dealership with missing services they just say bugger off 😥
@paulmcgaw6976 Perhaps, but I have this weird fear that the dealership will do something to your vehicle to make you have to come back to get it repaired and pay more money
bro, use jack stands for safety. Dangerous the way u did it 😡
I did...if you look behind the 3 ton jack it's there
@@DadbrosGarage *Oh, my bad, i didnt see it. Carry on good sir. Keep up the good work. 😅👍✌️
You all don't even take the time even tell people what side of under the car
What do you mean?
