Great job guys. Good sound and good shots. It’s cool hearing both of you from the bikes. Found your stuff the other day. Looking forward to the next one, and following along.
Trying to finish up our TAT trip currently and really enjoy your comms link setup. Really wish we had time to setup a similar link, as I found myself using random cam audio (highly filtered). We started in Miss. but it was an amazing trip! Looking forward to the rest of your vids!
Looks like a great day even if the weather is like we get here in the UK! I like the chatter between the two of you as you ride, makes yours stand out from other TAT videos. Interested to hear your thoughts on the 350 after a few days of long riding, I'm an orange guy but keep thinking the Honda might be better for the longer days.
The Honda is a good reliable bike. KTM is great power. Look at what you want for service schedules and make it your own. Both are great platforms. FYI the Honda can be a little heavy with gear. Enjoy. 😊
9 days in and I simply love how the KTM EXC-F 350 handles the trail. Great combo of nimbleness and power. Also enough power on the blacktop to run 60-70 MPH if I want to. Never, not ever, have I thought “I wish I had a heavier or more powerful bike”. Having helped Jack lift his 300L I am thankful the 350 is noticeably lighter than that and the thing delivers more power than I can use.
@@WheeledGeezer awesome, thanks for the input from both of you! I was not thinking of going any bigger than a 500. Definitely want something light but comfortable(ish).
@@WheeledGeezer thanks. I appreciate your reply. I have many questions for you guys, as I’m trying to get my 300 Rally prepared for the TAT. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to explore the route. I bought my bike last year, and I was hoping to start exploring it this year, but the bike is still not ready. I’m thinking that I will have to break it up into sections. I’m still trying to figure all this out... I really do appreciate you answering my questions, that will be a tremendous help! I’m so envious of you guys, being able to take 6 weeks off to have all this fun. And, I believe that you’re both lucky to have one another. A partner would be nice, but I will most likely be riding solo. Thanks for the tips, and stay safe. Britt from Louisiana. Edit: Are you guys prepared for cold temps as well?
@@airadaimagery692 we certainly are glad to be riding together. Hope you find a partner. We do have thermal under garments, puffy jacket, riding jacket, and warm gloves. Our camp gear is only good to about 45. Best wishes on your planning. Jack will be providing his observations on his 300L mods and what he might do differently once we are done.
I just found the channel today. I'll be following along 👍
Glad to have you following along. I hope it inspires your own adventures.

Congratulations 🎉!!

Cool. Curious what you guys are using for voice chat?

What’s the service intervals for the 350 ktm buddy
The manual says 15 hours. I am not riding hard and am changing every 1200+- miles as an experiment. We’ll see how it ends up.
Gentlemen abounds
Hard right. Thump... Not that hard right.
Where is this?
I cannot give an exact location but it was about 2 hours down the trail from Ripley WV
