Love the vids dude! I'm just wondering, I see you adjust the truss rod under tension? I thought you should never adjust it with the strings under tension.
Do you see a reason not to?

you can adjust the truss rod while strings are tuned
i usually do it only while loosening the truss rod or loosening it for more relief
don't be scared of the truss rod unless you try to turn it when it's stuck and put all your weight into it *don't do that by the way*
if you are fine tuning it you know for that relief between 8 thou and 12 thou relief i think it's safe to do so
i dunno why ppl are scared of turning the truss rod
*lil' secret you know those guitar techs? most of 'em are just truss rod turners lol seriously
sometimes just a turn on the truss rod can save you $100.00
just don't force the thing if it gets stuck

Why didn't you spray it down and clean it when you had all the strings off fender polish has a strange smell to it also

nice guitar but not for me. ive used that gibson guitar polish since the late 80s and i love it. i spray the back of the necks on my guitars with it often because it gives you great slide on the neck. my only acoustic electric in a 1973 Ovation my mom gave me for my 18th birthday in 1973. it plays great look great and sounds fantastic.

i like rollerwound strings on my jazz guitar. i have flatwounds on it now. too heavy.
