No only are you an exceptional harp player, your teaching style is clear and easy to understand. I have learned more from your videos than any others on fb. Thank you.
Thank you Brandon.
Very efficient yet exceptionally thorough instruction...no words are wasted and you always get to the important points that a harp player must know if they are to improve. Others instructors often drag the information out over a much longer time (several videos) and often leave out an important point or two that makes learning the harp that much more frustrating. Thank you for your honesty and completeness in these tutorials.
Looked at so many 'how to bend' clips here on UA-cam, without much success. Now it makes sense. Solid, brass-tacks explanation, thanks. Bad news is I need now to give that Mr Seydel my pennies.
I've seen a lot of videos about BEND. Yours is most useful to me. Thank you very much!!!!!
Watched a few videos about bending notes but this one was the most useful managed to bend all the draw notes and the voul sounds help alot to try and tune them, not quite got the sirening roles yet
Tried your instructions just now, no problems on hole no.1, bends great but no luck after that. Any tips on how I can make it bend on the other holes just like on no.1 please?
Definitely learning from this guy! Amazing harp player!! When my harmonica grows up, I want it to play like his! Haha! Awesome!
Cheers Will, big help man, my bends are developing slowly, hopefully this is the icing on the cake....
Great player, great teacher.
Thanks for all the tips and cool technique.
Incredibly helpful advice. Thank you!
Had a problem with 3 draw bends. your suggestion to add a da or ta to the bend really helped a lot. thanks.
I love you! I've learned so so much! Thank you for posting these videos. -Helene
Very helpful, nice
Yes yes yes thank you
Your video is the only one that makes sense to me! I'm a musician but a beginner harmonica player, I can bend the one draw after watching this but can't seem to get any others yet.....
Keep going! The technique is fundamentally the same for all the draw bends, so if you've got the 1 draw, the others will follow.
@@willharmonicawilde Thanks for the reply! I sure will, I'm really stoked that immediately after watching your video I got the 1 draw bend 😎
thanks for your class.
Thanks for your video
It looks so easy, how come?
I've been practising it for the last 3 month but no progress at all. I sometime think I use a wrong harp. Golden Melody old. What actually I missed?
Thanks, man. I can do it one time, then next time I can't. Wait a while, and I can again. I guess that means I need to practice more.
Muscle fatigue? I have this problem with some notes, and it seems that I'm using too much tension in my facial muscles like sucking a straw, instead of relaxing and pulling from my diaphragm. Practice does build muscle tone.
Will ,cheers
I am a novice ,and this video really really helps
I was going loopy trying to get a bend
Thanks so much
Question ,do I breath -draw harder to get bends?
I seem to be doing that
Or will I get more softer as I get more practice ?
If you have the correct technique you shouldn't need to play any harder or louder to get the bends (more air will pass through as the back of your throat opens up on the bend, but you don't need to pull any harder or play any louder) It's all about getting the right mouth shape, once you get it you should be able to play the bends really softly.
@@willharmonicawilde Thanks Will ,I really appreciate your help
Excellent tip ' a e oo '
The 3 draw half a step draw is Di, Du or Do kind of draw?
Great! Thanks for sharing. Excuse me, what tipe of harmonica Is it? Diatonic Hohner Special 20? What key Is it? "C"? Thankyou.
Very informative vdo . Please let me know can i produce bend note in SUZUKI easy rider harmonica?
Absolutely, you can do it on any diatonic harmonica.
@@willharmonicawilde Thank you 🙏
Hi, Will! First of all, thank you for ur lessons - good job, clear and informative. And I have a question: 2nd hole. I'm a beginner, and only now did understand how to bend on1-4 holes. But now I can't draw 2nd hole without bend. I mean, now I can't get a clear note, only with bend. May be you can help me understand, what I do wrong. Thanks.
Tamara Ogen -you may be saying "E" when you should be saying "Awe" when drawing on the 2nd hole D note causing you to sound a Db note. Or maybe you are drawing too hard. Try drawing in with less pressure.
Hey, I was able to bend a little. After so many vids, this is the first that allows me to make 3 different bends on the 3. But, mine still don't sound good. I wonder how to make them sound nice and all that. My mouth is getting cramps.
Just keep practicing, try to keep your lips relaxed
I still can't find the triple bend, can you not do it on a Marine band?
I,ve tried and tried ,I give up,can,t do it.
I can bend on 1 draw and that's it 😢. Hopefully this helps me get the others
