i know Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost the password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Bishop Karson Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I went with my parents around 2005 and it wasn't as active as it should be and I said... "wow that's all it did?!" It was one of the weeks where it went maybe 1/4th of what was intended. My father pulled me aside and let me know that all of these foreigners including cantonese... mandarin... and japanese... have never seen it and that I should keep my mouth shut because they have traveled countless miles to see this. That day at the age of 15 I realized to stfu and enjoy what was in front of you. I still think about this day 20 years later.
IF I was more cynical I'd say that this geyser stopped firing water years ago, but since it's the main tourist attraction they just hooked up pipes underground and shot the water out automatically everyday, and no ones knows. One of those dumb things that I think of.
Its a good thing we have guys like gocatss50 around to spread the word and the truth to the sheeple (us obviously). If only we could be so enlightened. This is what happens when you have a country with over 300 million people and no access to free mental healthcare lmfao.
The Earth is amazing. The Geyser erupts 17 times daily. The schedule is between every 60 to 110 minutes. It’s amazing because of the consistency over hundreds of years. The accuracy of prediction of eruptions is within 10 minutes 90 percent of the time
Seeing old faithful erupt is a neat experience. When I was out in Yellowstone I had a geyser erupt and got soaked. I thought the water was going to be hot but it was actually cold.
Idk how earth can be so ghetto and still so beautiful at the same damn time. This was so beautiful. I hope I can visit yellowstone one day to see this in person.
Yeah, that's an excellent idea. I think you should do it, or maybe try one of the hot springs or geothermal areas if that isn't hot enough for you. Just leave a note designating a next of kin to receive your posthumus Darwin award.
Old Faithful is always good to see, but it's FAR from the most spectacular. I'll wager fully 90+% of the folks there never bothered to walk up into the rest of the geyser basin..
@@TheLizItIs Depends on what you're looking for. The geyser basin contains hundreds of features of every size & activity. The smaller geyser groups fascinate through exchange-of-function between individual springs. The major geysers are not to be missed: Grand Geyser, the tallest predictable one in the basin (220+ feet), Giant and Giantess (200 ft), Fan & Mortar Geysers (125 feet, from over a dozen vents), and so much more.
@@georgejenista9487 it’s such a HUGE place. If I only had 3 days there, from your experience, what 3 places should I venture to? Thanks so much for responding !
This may be a little harsh but this seems like one of the worse eruptions you could have gotten considering it didn’t get that high and the eruption we saw lasted nearly 4 minutes.
No problems at all - that's the wonder of Mother Nature - you just never know what you are going to get! To be honest, I was happy with what I saw, and the fact over 730,000 people have watched the video is at least some compensation :-)
Great video and all. Doesn't do it justice. I have to be there to really appreciate it. Even though the water is too hot, I wonder if it has any healing properties. I wish the Carolinas had hot springs. Natural hot springs are an endurance athletes best friend. As long as it has the proper chemical compounds, and not too hot to sit in for an hour to relax and recover.
Warm water + water vapor in gaseous from is geyser , (only warm water came out from lithosphere is hot springs no pressure and only steam or water vapor is called fumaroles
Do geysers geys all day? Like, how often would you say geysers geys? What? Like, how often do they geys? Like, the verb, "geys". Is that a word? I don’t think so. Wait, no no no, movers move, runners run, builders build, so geysers geys. Like, geysers geys out geysadized water or something. What are you talking about!? idk
LOL - I am sure there must be a word for it...and yes, it takes place all day and night! Intervals between them varies by geyser...this one is famous for being pretty regular!
I was just a kid when my family visited Yellowstone National Park. I remember thinking Old Faithful was the coolest thing ever. And we sat near a hot thermal pool and put a dirty sock in a long stick and dipped it, thoroughly cleaning it. We have photos of chipmunks stuffing their cheeks with nuts. And I remember Mim saying she “held into me for dear life” when overlooking the magnificent falls. Good times!
We would have paid the cost anyway for the amazing experience of seeing parts of Yellowstone...was good value (and yes I guess I would have recovered that through the video)
Listening to the people sounds: These Americans say 'O my God' continuously. I wonder if it is just an expression, like saying Wow! If so, then they are blaspheming. I assume there are no Christians in America, because they would have protested against their God being blasphemed.
It's just an expression of awe...I don't think people even think of it as blasphemous in everyday life - it's just a common expression used to express shock or amazement...not something religious.
love how the height of the outburst is straight in proportion with the loudness of the sounds the tourists are making

People were really loud during it. Back in July when i went there, no one was talking and just enjoying. Still beautiful!
Tourists eh 🙂
People have no common courtesy now, and even though they were there..... they still watched it through their cell phone screens.
Thanks for this video. My students are learning about Yellowstone, and this is a great, straightforward depiction of the famous geyser.
Glad it was helpful!

It's crazy to think that one day that area and surroundings would go BOOM
Any volcanic area is open to that risk I guess...for now it was nice to see :-)
i know, the kids were in awe when the saw the geyser
And sadly, it would also mean that the geyser will be destroyed as well.

It's a underground hose that's why you have to stay far away not to see the hose end
It is hot underground (more to less at the boiling point), but the water rapidly cools once released in an eruption.
