Thank you! Heretic Anthem is on my list. Disasterpiece is too, but Alex plays it differently than Paul played it and I'm trying to figure out who's parts I want to play and where. I like to mix live and album versions of the songs together from different years.
What programm do you use to get this thick and deep sound? I started playing recently, but there is little information on bass guitar on the Internet on how to achieve a good sound. Now i use guitar rig 5, but there is a little functionality for bass. My instrument is schecter stiletto stealth-5.
I didn't use any programs to change the sound. It all came from my pedal board and my Spector Legend bass. I would say it is probably more the Darkglass pedal you are hearing. They also make a program if a pedal isn't something you are interested in.
For this song I used my Darkglass B7K Ultra for distortion and to boost the 1K and 3K frequencies. I recorded it using a SSL 2+ audio interface with Studio One. In Studio One I used the ProEQ insert to boost 80hz, 800hz and 4.9khz by about 9db each and to cut 240hz by 3db. I think changing the EQ anywhere by 9db is a bit excessive, but it worked well for this song.
This tone is literally perfect.
Glad you like it!
Used this as a backing track while playing on my guitar thank you
Absolutely! I'm excited that someone thinks it's good enough to play along to!
