Most of us have experienced that. Being left behind by someone we care(d) about, not even being able to say a proper goodbye, in the end we're left with pieces of them in what feels like empty space, where we struggle to find ourselves again. I hope you're all doing well.
I like this video, but i'm glad that I first heard the song without seeing it. It let me produce my own story in my head to it. Which was also in deep space. With the name as inspiration I pictured a fleet of huge ships piloted by a priest caste that were inhabited by the last survivors of humanity after a catastrophe. Everyone was looking out at the other ships knowing that they would never see anyone living on the other ships again as all of the ships then chart courses in different directions in a diaspora to find other places that humanity could exist. With everyone flying almost blind into uncharted space it made sense that the pilots were priests since travel and survival were a matter of faith. That they would continue on and find a new home.
This video adds so much emotions to this already very touching song... Makes me want to run Elite Dangerous and go on a expedition with no intentions to ever return.
When you are touched by a melody with the first few tones it is always something magical because you dont know why. There are thousands of beautiful and touching melodys out there but this is such a special one. Mystical and it catchs you depp down there where it is supossed to be, in your sole. Amazing work done here.

This is a beautiful story about someone who doesn't want to be alone. The music makes it more heartbreaking. I love this.
