People make fun of the looks of the Gladius, but the way you've got a decked out with the Fairing and the color scheme, that thing looks amazing. I would buy it from you in a heartbeat.
Learned to ride here in Scotland on a 650 Gladius (we have different training here in the UK compared to America), they are tough bikes, the one I used was a 2008 and had 80,000 miles on it and still rode fine (had proper maintenance though), I passed my test in Feb this year and bought a 2004 GSXR 600 which I love but think i'll buy a Gladius too next year, they are great bikes.
illbe getting me one of these as my first bike .. taking license next year .. 43 years old -.- so :D .. and ive read up on it and the engine is better then the sv650 .. only thing people dont like is the styling .. i however find it look rather good .. dont see why people hate on this but love the MT / FZ line
@@Ladosligese I'm 50 : ), i ended up getting a Ducati Monster 696 last year, it's been great, has a bit more character than the Gladius, just as easy to ride, i also bought a Gen 1 Hayabusa and still have the GSXR so quite a collection, the Hayabusa is surprisingly easy to ride even for a novice like me. Good luck with the tests, you will love it.
I was doing some UA-cam research to find a great action camera with an external mic, I saw your comment on another UA-cam's video which lead me to this video. And WOW THANK YOU!!! Subscribed!! James
Yes, I've been really happy with it. I discovered it on someone else's vlog. They compared a bunch of cameras and they talked about the Sena Prism Tube and how you can use it straight out of the box because it comes with everything you need. It may not be as good as a GoPro, but for my needs it's perfect!
nice video, I'm a beginner motorcyclist, am small 166cm so which bike of this equation is right for me? I drive daily to work in the city and also the highway and sometimes during a weekend round of recreational so, which one? this or GSR600 or GSX R 600 or Kawa ER 6 N
Probably not the Gixxer! But I can't speak to the other two. I think a 500cc or 650cc naked or faired bike is perfect for an adult with some experience. and they are very good "all-round" bikes -- good for commuting, taking on the highway, running errands, or just joy riding for day trips. The GSX Rs are race bikes and not very comfortable for the average rider.
สับปะรด เรซซิ่ง the bags were Hepco and Becker - the C-bow system- pretty expensive but really good quality bags. I think I ordered them from MotoMachines.
Hi watch your video yesterday really enjoyed it was wondering if you got the new bike and what you thought of it I am looking at one at the moment sv650 Gladius 2015 do like the seat you have got on your bike i do own a DL650 2018 which has the same engine as the sv650 Cheers from new Zealand
I don't get it.... You convinced me the Gladius was the right bike for you and you got it modded to your liking -- So why trade out of it? The FZ07 wouldn't necessarily be better. This isn't meant to be a criticism, I would really like to know. How did it work out, can you honestly say the FZ07 is the best bike for you, without any regrets for giving up the Gladius?
MrRamdragon - I have to say that I loved both of these bikes. In some ways I regretted getting ride of the Gladius, which was a very comfortable, easy to ride bike. The FZ07 was lighter and more modern in appearance. I didn’t have to replace the seat on the FZ as it was comfortable from the get go. I loved the TBR exhaust system on the FZ. They were both great bikes in their own ways. And I refer to both of them in the past tense because I’m now riding an FZ09, which again has some majors pluses, but is a little taller and a bit harder to manage, but overall a better bike than either of the other two. 😄
Do you still have the seat? I am interested in buying the seat. I have the Gladius 2013 SFV 650? Contact me at tammylworkman@gmail.com if you do please
jer footpath - yes I usually ride with gloves and a jacket as well as a helmet and boots, however I just jumped on it and rode it around the corner to shoot this video. I’ve been paying for that decision ever since in all the comments I’ve received! But don’t worry I’m no squid 😄
love the video. but, please, ATGATT!!! [All The Gear All The Time] dont want you end up being disfigured or loss of bodyparts just becous its too "hot"
oh the gladius! I have spent way too much time trying to figure out what it is that makes it look weird. I think the two shapes that run under the saddle and into the fuel tank cover look like either ovaries or testicles. The front headlight looks like a vaginal opening giving birth to a headlight and the instrument panel looks like a really cheap toupee or wig mounted above the vagina light. Too bad about all those things as it's a great bike if you can get past these things.
Ive had tonnes of bikes.im 61.ive got a 2010 gladius and love it.i cannot see why people dont like it.i cannot fault it.
Agreed - it was a great bike ride- basically the SV 650 but with the funky mini “fairings.”
@speedbird8987 Absolutely. And my opinion I never liked the look of the sv. The sfv is much better looking

I have my Gladius 2010 at 72000 kms and still in great condition like new...one of the toughest bike i have
I know it’s late but considering your experience on a 600 but want for a more naked upright bike that you may want to consider a gsxs 750.
I think it looks great in black! Ride safe.
I love the style.. Best ever I'm in love with mine!
thanks for a good video. My wife are getting her license in the spring and she looking to buy a Gladius. I think your blogg made up her mind.
Toby 750 - it was a great bike - was sorry to see it go - I'm sure your wife will be very happy with a Gladius.
absolutly...she loved the things you had done to her...she looked cool
another good job on the upgrades. Girlpower-packed thinking 🎯😎

Great video! Where did you get that windshield from? Is it effective in deflecting the wind?
I think it looks great in black. Ride safe.
What wind screed do you have on the 650?
Hi guys Im a hairy assed old guy who has ridden everything from a Honda C90 to a ZZR1100 to a Yamaha FZ1S and i love my Gladius ...
well said ;)
Why would you change it??
Did the exhaust heat up the bags at all?
Hey, nice review. How did the FZ-07 compare to the SV/SFV? Which do you prefer?
Links for the mods you made?
Hey Man!!! i want to buy a seat like this! I live in Brazil, do you know how i do it??
Paulo Oliveira - it’s a Corbin seat. You have to order them direct from Corbin. They cost about $465 US. Not cheap but worth every penny.
Thank you very much !!!

Thanks for reaction, i tried Honda cb600 f, it is a super bike with 4 cylinders but still nice to ride
What brand of side bag with rack and price ? thank you.

how much did it cost you for the Corbin seats ?
seif ayachi the Corbin seat was about $450 US. I still have it if you want to make me an offer.
Speedbird, i can give you 100$ for the corbin seat.
Marin Sorin - sorry - it was $450 new, and it's in perfect condition- I can't let it go for less than $250

Of course your salesman will tell you that, he's trying to sell you a bike lol.
I love your bike. It's very pretty. I also want a Gladius.
Not wearing proper gear and running stop signs... Smh.
Yeah, was just running around my quiet little neighborhood. That stop sign is a joke as it's two dead end streets that meet up. Anyway, chill out bro!
Put some proper gear on for gods sake!
Rubix Ronnie - I normally do, but was just riding the bike to a local park to do the video.
In all honesty a helmet is all she needs.
Gloves? arm protection? basic stuff.
jer footpath - yes I usually ride with gloves and a jacket as well as a helmet and boots, however I just jumped on it and rode it around the corner to shoot this video. I’ve been paying for that decision ever since in all the comments I’ve received! But don’t worry I’m no squid 😄

Ilove my bike 1 min later, a new bike. I hope this isnt how u run your life
"Unfortunately someone else is going to benefit from it" you should be ashamed.
Why does every review become about, "hey, they arent wearing gloves!" Lol
Idiots
