- We got a few down last night we will upload this week. Funny the first take if Psycho Killer Tico tried to pull a Dave Grohl and walk off the stage. the divergence is Tico can fly. I will upload that next.
Tico is one of the few lead singers you'll see scratch his head with his foot during a performance.
The less said about Marilyn Manson the better.

@@narmale You kidding me? Manson was more or less a downhill act since the time he started, and certainly after his "big 3" came out (Antichrist, Mechanical, Holywood). Basically as soon as Reznor stopped guiding him, he went full of the rails and just became a useless alcoholic. Manson destroyed himself, period.
His vibrato, tone, and rhythm are so good, the pitch does not even matter.
Actually in many segments the pitch is very good!
Silent Lou: Tico is able to sing along with Frank’s guitar in another key by choice. Just shows another dimension of his talent.
He is truly Polly•tonal.

I cannot even tell if he's in key, his voice is so complicated... it sure never sounds bad. And heck, it's dull always being key... disonance is the spice & bitterness to harmony's sugar.
His pitch is one of his most unique talents! Listening to other birds that’s often the bit lacking, but Tico is always adjusting not only to the key but often the chord changes. A marvelous musical birb indeed! ❤️
That bird's got better pitch than most American Idol contestants. And he can improvise~ Bravo!

Tico's ability to incorporate "Pretty bird" and "Ticooo" into every song is admirable.

What is truly amazing is not only does he sing in tune but has internalised an understanding of the western heptatonic scale. Very intelligent and gifted birds.

He’s absolutely brilliant. His ability to know when to hit the falsetto, when to sing soaring lines, is uncanny.
Glissandos, vibratos, whistling in tune, singing outside, blues notes, really good timing and phrasing... Truly impressive.

We had these exact ones when I was a kid in the Caribbean. I had Paulie and he sang just like this. My grandfather had two named Tico & Taco and they were off the hook on a whole another level of conciousness.
These are awesome parrots and I loved just watching them fly around freely in pandemonium
Franks guitar work is flawless. And as always Tico is on top form. Always a pleasure.

I recently bought a parrot and he's the same kind as tico and we named him Rico and Rico has been trying to sing along with this parrot. So cute

amazing. this bird has a better voice range than professional human sonnets and much more talent rearranging. He even threw opera in there. Queen would be so proud of this beautiful birds intelligence.
with every burst of sweet, clear notes, it's like Tico vocally drills down deeper into his soul to sing strictly from the heart.
He's definetly putting his all best, and I've gotta say that Byrne's art just got improved :)

I have no idea how his daddy does not totally crack up EVERY time over Tico's very nearly spot on SOLO! My parrots can sing along to their faves on the stereo, but Tico not only extrapolates to a solo, he extrapolates further with only a guitar! Hey Tico! That's one of my favorite songs too! 💕

Fun fact: Check out the birds pupils - they quickly jump from big to small, big again, etc. That is a something parrots do when they are having fun.
Edit- others correctly noted this actually means they are excited, both when happy and when wary/nervous. I made the comment based on a pet conure who I only saw doing it with things they clearly liked, but obviously don’t rely on it and be careful with birds you don’t know well.

They do that when they are excited.
That can be either positive or negative. And if it's negative you should be really careful or he might attack you...

Good warning about it meaning “excited” not necessarily “happy.” My statement was based on one pet conure that only seemed to do that when it liked something (head scratch, new toy, apple slice, etc).

Everytime his eye dilates when he sings is pretty trippy.
That's called eye pinning. When birds get excited or threatened, their eyes will contract and contract at near imperceptible speeds, making it look like it's rapidly pinning.
That's parrots for ya...Especially Amazons..They do this when they get exited or concentrating on something

That's my marketing experience kicking in. I've been in the music industry on the equipment side and got to work with professional musicians showing them how to use my gear. Effects, recording gear guitars etc.. But Tico is the one that poops out or fly's off so I keep them short so he can do his thing comfortably and there is no silence or mid flight as I play through. Thank you:)
