Even though I recently purchased this LX450, I have decided I want to go a different route for an overland build. So this one is for sale now. I submitted it to BaT yesterday, thinking that it may take a while. But to my surprise they accepted it today, just 24 hours later. did you know that lexus models only have 3 out of the rear side glass panels slide, the driver side only has 1 sliding half and the other half does not slide.

Beautiful rig! I wish that had been the starting point for my overland build! Btw, I happened to be looking for visors when you posted this. Can you tell me what year make and model those come from? They will be key to fitting with our customer overhead console.
Hi Doug! The visors that the previous owner installed on this LX450 are from a 2003 Lexus LX430. I remember installing similar ones on my 1997 40th anniversary edition Land Cruiser 10yrs ago as well, and I remember correctly they bolted right on as well on the LC.
What are you working on for an overhead console? I'm very curious now that you mentioned that!!

@@DouglasGreen562 Wow, I hadn't seen that video of yours yet. That top is absolutely amazing. I have never seen something like that on an LC. Amazing work!!
@@NKPGarage It's made by Eric Lippincott at Campteq. You can order a clamp on version, no cutting out your roof . Depending on your stature you could climb up into it via the sunroof if you wanted. We decided to cut the roof out cuz I wanted standing room.

Thanks! It has the center locker. But no front and rear lockers.
