Another bonus with this foundation is that its has spf15 from the Titanium Dioxide. They say that they were only able to include this label for the European market, but the spf15 is still prevalent in formulas sold outside the EU. Of course I wouldn't bank on it as my sole spf but its nice to have.
you probably dont give a damn but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Kase Benton thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great foundation review - this sounds like a really good serum foundation! I get a scaly, inflamed patch in the exact same spot! After years of thinking it was psoriasis, I finally had a dr diagnosis my patch as perioral dermatitis (like a cross between eczema & acne) caused by a skin allergy to fragrance & some preservative ingredients in products. Ever since going fragrance free & avoiding the preservatives, the patch rarely flares up. After watching your drmtlgy review, I think their sensitive cream would be great for treating any flare ups I get 👍🏻
I don’t know how I feel about this foundation. I received mine last week plus the two primers. On me I feel it looks too dry. It does cake a little on me as well. I’m going to try it with a different primer so see how it does. I really wanted to love it.
I have it in 1.1P I am light to fair cool with dry dry skin. Works beautifully on me. Moisturizing and good color. I only wish it had more SPF in it (higher#) hahaha we always want more don't we.
Heyy dont be bumped about a SPF, because a lot of foundations that claims to have SPF in it - it actually does little to almost nothing. You would have to put a big amount to actually get the right amount of SPF and then reapply it multiple times through out the day. I think that maybe that is the reason that TO didnt include spf in it, because it is better to apply it under the foundation.
Hi Abbey, I use and love The Ordinary. I didn’t know they made foundation. I think this would be perfect for me. I have maturing skin on the dry/normal side. I am very fair in complexion and have a hard time finding something light enough with cool undertones. Since they are heavy in their fair shades, which is really weird, I may have luck in finding something that matches me. If I purchase this, I’ll definitely use your affiliate link. 😀
I’ve tried both the serum and full coverage foundation from The Ordinary. I have combo skin and at first it was great. Both formulations. Then it just sat on top of my skin no matter what I used under it. Not sure if it expires quickly? I’m kind of tempted to pick up another bottle to try. Great review as always 💜💜
I love your reviews on make-up. I tend to stay away from serum foundation and liquid foundation because I have an oily t-zone and wear glasses. In the past I have tried serum / liquid foundations and it doesn't work for me. I found a brand Bare Minerals which is a mineral based foundation and I love this by far and I have been using this for quite a number of years and wouldn't look back. It would cover any problem areas that you would have on your skin and most of all gives you a flawless complexion. Give this a go I would love to hear your views.
This is the foundation I use!! I love it! I usually do half a pump and it spreads across my entire face and neck. Then I just set my t-zone. Too bad it doesn’t have spf in it, but other than that it’s my favorite. I’ve been using it about a year 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Ps I just ordered the Puritto bb cream which I’m excited to try ☺️
2010Elinor what type of skin do you have? Want to try this foundation, since they say you can’t feel it. I don’t wear any now, but want to find something my skin likes. I have dry skin but lots of makeup’s clog my pores & the coconut alkanes in this I’m afraid of!
Jessica Galyon I have combo skin (oily in t-zone and very dry around my mouth and chin). I have had no issues with clogged pores or breaking out, but I only wear it maybe once a month so I’m not sure what would happen if I wore it regularly. I try not to focus it too heavily in my dry areas because no matter how good a formula is it will always emphasize that kind of texture. I hope that helped! Honestly for the price point i would recommend trying it if you’re curious.

Appreciate the shout out for the medium to deep girls out there. They definitely have room for improvement Loved the review. Wondering if you normally power throughout the day with your regular foundation? Or did you powder for the wear test for those who wanted to see the difference.. just curious. I normally want something that I put on and don't have to touch up until I wash my face at the end of the day.
Of course! Always something I want to bring up if the brand needs to improve. I normally will have to add a little additional powder to my forehead & nose after roughly 5-6 hours with any foundation
I wouldn't really be able to help with color selection unfortunately but maybe the brand can help! I have skin that leans oily and love it but everyone is different
Have you gone fragrance free in makeup as well? Most of my favourites have some fragrance ( it cc cream has citrus oils) ! So I find it harder to make the switch 😬
For foundations yes- currently diving into the rest of my routine to figure out what else can’t be repurchased 😭😭 I did an affordable fragrance free foundation review!
Saw your drugstore foundation video. Do you have any high end faves? Thoughts on nars sheer glow? Would like to see you review the osmosis one too since that’s a skincare based line
Abbey Yung yes! Idk if it was just me but I feel like the picture on the ordinary website of the swatches and shades was very different than the colors 😕
Coconut alkanes first or second ingredient. Same as the bare minerals complexion rescue. I’ve been wanting to try so many things but they use the coconut alkanes instead of silicones... “clean beauty” & have read so many ppl having issues.
Claire Kennedy did you try the ordinary foundation & it broke you out or you just know your skin doesn’t like coconut? I use coconut oil on my body daily, but my face hates it. My husband would break out like crazy w oil on his body. So I wonder if it would work w me since it’s dif than just oil.. might add to my ulta bag since it’s just $6
LOVE your videos 💕super great recommendations so THANKS. I was wondering if you have tried the MDSolarSciences Beauty Balm SPF 50 or anything from their line?
Love to see u do a Haul from Target/Walmart...& While I can see u r slim Plz look for bigger sizes in the clothes u buy...Also I'm a sucker for routines, Better Habits organizing , fav books etc wild live see them too. Ty, in advance. All Very Best ☀️🌼🐝

Absolutely! I’ll take any extra SPF I can get 😂

@Kase Benton it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my ass !
This is one of my favorite foundations. It just works on me and I didn't think it would.
I just found your channel and fell in love with it! I love the way you do your video descriptions- so easy to find everything
😊💗

so funny! I never had the issue prior to face masks and my new acne prescription. Such a brutal combo for the skin. So glad you've found a solution 😊
Sounds like a good one to try. It's so affordable and lightweight. I don't like foundations that feel heavy. Love you and your channel!!!!
Awww love you thank you so much! ♥️

I totally agree with the tones being off. I ordered neutral and it was sooo warm.
So weird right?!

Make sure you get the serum kind😘

That’s so interesting! Could be? Thank you 😊♥️
Great Serum Foundation Review, Abbey!❤️❤️

What makeup brush are you using?
Finally!! I am so glad you did this review. I will for sure be purchasing this! Whats next? The primer review? Love all your videos!!!
Yay I’m so glad 😊 I need more of their makeup!
Paola Palomino I would actually like to see a review on the primer. 😀
Thanks for such a thorough and informative video. so helpful. :) I am ordering it today

Just discovered you, Abbey. Will be trying this foundation.
Also.joined your site. Looking forward to seeing more from you!
Yay welcome! ♥️
Thanks for this! Im definately a light makeup person...this helped a ton!!
Yay so glad!
Did you prime your face with anything prior to application?
Appreciate the shout out for the medium to deep girls out there. They definitely have room for improvement

Great video!
So glad you enjoyed 😊
How would I choose a color? I know is so hard but I will hate to waste money! 😬. Is this ok for oily skin in your opinion?
I wouldn't really be able to help with color selection unfortunately but maybe the brand can help! I have skin that leans oily and love it but everyone is different

I’ll do a high end version 😊
You seriously keep on surprising me omg HAHAHAHA I really want this foundation and now I have your opinion on it
Yay!!
You look beautiful !!
Thank you ♥️♥️
Yay! I asked for this hahah I have it but I got the wrong shade :/
So hard to color match correctly online sometimes!
Abbey Yung yes! Idk if it was just me but I feel like the picture on the ordinary website of the swatches and shades was very different than the colors 😕
This is awesome! I've never heard anyone talk about this and I may try it. Thanks!
If you do I hope you love it 😊
These foundations have coconut oil high up on ingredients, right? Makes me break out like crazy
No, it's oil free.
Sheila R oh, maybe I’m thinking of the coverage foundation

Same I was literally looking at this yesterday... Something is up
You guys are cracking me up over here 😂😂
LOVE your videos 💕super great recommendations so THANKS. I was wondering if you have tried the MDSolarSciences Beauty Balm SPF 50 or anything from their line?
Yay so glad! I haven’t tried that one yet!
Deciem is pronounced differently from how you said it love
I’ve never heard it said out loud! Pronunciations are not my strong suit 😂😊

You think they would have learned from Fenty Beauty about shade range 🤦🏾♀️
Doh....ordinary ingredients...
Yes definitely very basic
