@@RoxyCakes Loved it. One of my favorite clips..”I think you know what you can kiss!” I watched Cheers faithfully until Shelly left. After that I watched it sparingly. I loved her guest appearances on Frasier. I will say this, there were some good moments from Rebecca but not on the same level as Diane.
You left out one of the funnier Diane lines from the last episode of season 1: "Nobody is swept away when they have the presence of mind to say 'maybe we should kiss'"
@timothytharasingh359. I think it took balls for an actress who looked like Rhea Perlman in the show to constantly belittle the looks of a woman who looked like Shelley Long. Didn't make any sense. More sad than funny.
Kirsty Alley had huge shoes to fill - and failed lamentably. Thankfully the consistent quality of the script and established characters carried the show through.
I don’t know where you’re getting your information from but this is extremely false. Kirstie Alley won an Emmy award for her work in Cheers. Not to mention the ratings actually went up after Shelley left and continued to do so until the very end of Cheers. Kirstie succeeded very well on the show and went on to do many great comedy films and have a very successful career and with all due respect to Shelley Long, Kirstie Alley was actually more famous than Long was. Kirstie was very talented and that is a huge reason why Cheers lasted as long as it did. Had they hired someone else Cheers would have most likely sunk to the bottom as it took a very special kind of actress, a very specific actress to fill the shoes of Long and Kirstie did this very well. It was also very refreshing seeing new characters cause the Sam and Diane story was getting so exhausting by the end of season five and had reached it’s boiling point. I think she did a great job
@@splashgeometric9683 I liked both actresses and although I preferred Shelley Long's character, Kirstie Alley was quite talented. Anyone who doesn't think so should she her in a TV movie called David's Mother for which she won a well-deserved Emmy. She was amazingly good in it.
Excellent actress. Outstanding.
Diane was amazing!
Thank you for the memories. 😍🇵🇹🥃
Shelly Long in a pink nighty; Nothing more need be said.
Great clips, thank you.
Glad you like them!

Some of the clips get blocked and I have to cut them out.....
She had some great legs.
Shelly Long is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.
Have you seen her recently?
That pink nighty was hot
@@carlosoliveira-rc2xt that's called getting older. Happens to all of us, except Lynda Carter...
@@markorollo. I'm sure Lynda had some work done.

I wish I had her number. Just the right woman for me.

Alice cheers work older notebooks now please lol don t hold hands
UA-cam blocking some clips just ruined the whole experience, pisses me off.
Diane could be a real pain
People who say that usually don't have the intelligence or the vocabulary to keep up with her. She was uniquely funny.
I always despised Diane. Great acting though
She wasn't acting
You know very little about acting, especially comedic acting.
