Ruby D I’m not sure if you understand quite right. Remi is a King German Shepard. This means that she has a significantly greater amount of fur than a regular German Shepard. While it may look like she has some weight, it is most likely just her coat size. Amber prioritizes her animal’s health, especially since most of them are trained to act. This would mean that they need to be on top shape to be cast for the roles. While I understand where you are coming from, I just wanted you to have some more accurate information. I wasn't saying they should have filmed the dog actually dying. Lol drama queen. They could have atleast gotten a dummy/stuffed dog. And shot it from an angle. So it looked like they found the dog in a sleeping position, dead. Much like they did with Jack on Little House on The Prairie. They could have also had a scene. Where he had already been buried. And Amy at least speaking about how much she loved him. But nope nothing. Lobo bit it and no one cared lol.

I know what a King Shepherd is. My boyfriend breeds and works them. Obesity is not a normal breed trait. Maybe do some research.

They wrote him out of the show. The dog died. But they never addressed it. I guess dogs passing away isn't a big deal on Heartland.
