You sound so young yet very mature in your reporting. You ensure all the nitty-gritty are touched and you don't leave your listeners hanging. I look forward to your stories. Blessings
Wow, this story was a lot to take in. It was also a sad one. I hope Daniel's children gets the support needed as they get older, knowing their gran father robbed them permanently of their father.
It's truly shocking what greed can do to men. The man was so jealous of his son's life and even took his wife on top of it all he killed him. The enemy is always within. Thank you for covering this story.
Its like u ddnt listen to the whole story....if he killed his 18yr old in 1995 why would u think he killed the adult out of jelousy while collecting their life insurance next few days?
I am from Nyeri mweiga. I grew up there studied there and left for South Africa. I grew up with this family. He was very rich and can't imagine he was a murder. I remember the incidence of drowning of his first son's death

how also did the son Infront of a multitude vowed to kill his father. Allegation of affairs with daughter in-law seemed far fetched. How did the daughter agreed?. Was she forced. Or concession of two adults?.
The wife is equally guilty! Sounds like she wanted to be a third wife. Father in- law was a real demon. My heart goes out to Daniel's daughters ...😢 RIP Daniel.

Great narration by Silent Shadows once again. Great police work in this case. Usually in Africa, criminal cases that implicate billionaires are mysteriously swept under rugs.
Investigative content takes so much time dear… but support her also financially so that she can probably pay a team to assist with getting content much faster 😃😊
This is beyond comprehension 😭😔 a father killing his own son his own blood??? I cannot even fathom what went through his mind to do that heinous act. May Mwangi Rest in peace

The guy was a serial killer and I wouldn't be surprised if he had other victims. Police should have investigated the death of his first son further instead of taking his word for it.
Great episode, as always. Always looking forward to these episodes. The captions are so on point, and I really liked them. The in-depth research is impressive.
Courts operate in a funny way. To convict someone for the the must be beyond any reasonable doubt that is a strong testimony by a witness. The detectives had to get into agreement with Mahinda in order to convict actual murderers.
What an interesting case, and an even interesting narrator. A billionaire, his son, a muguka seller, a large farm with a dam.... I just love the details in this case. Greed 😢. Big ups, this channel deserves more attention.
Nice narration. Narrator always on point. Continue enlightening us Madam. While i understand the complexity of behind scenes work, is it possible for this to be weekly and not fortnight? The program is such a soul healer❤️
I think Daniel's dad might have been having an affair with the daughter-in-law. Cause i don't understand how you separate with your husband, and instead of going to your parents, you opt to stay with your father-in-law. And i also think she was involved in the plot of his murder. Also, shame on the statements of that judge about Daniel not being missed due to being single. Just because you're single, does it mean you won't be missed by family and friends?
Yes the judge's statement was in bad taste. I'm single and lot's of people would miss me. It's also sad that people are struggling so much that they will risk their freedom for less than 50k.
Listen carefully, the judge said "unlike Eddy...no one/no family will miss Raphael wachira(the killer)since he was 36yrs old and not married""" not DANIEL the victim.
Have never bought that story of the Dad dying...no outsider witnessed his burial. May be he plotted his own death to escape jail 😢...such an evil monster 😡
My head is spinning and cannot believe my ears .,the manager and the two guys should be in prison .Blood money is a curse . His Dad died as a murderer .
Your narration is such a welcome breath of fresh air ! Very wonderful and keeps me on the edge, wanting to know what happened next. You have earned a subscriber. Wangondu was truly evil. This was obviously not his first murder. Probably the only one where he got caught.

I wish he moved away from the father's home and possibly to a further location. Sad. Thanks for the video.
But bcoz of insurance money I'm thinking he would still trace the son and kill him😢

Such a light sentence for Mahinda. Even if he was a state witness, he deserved to be locked for at least 10 years.
