The WSM hasn't been featured in a long time! I can't handle the heat as I used to either! Good cook T-Roy! Rootboy Approved! 🍺🍺🍺🍺

When the boy who grew up in Louisiana says it’s intense, it’s intense. ;-) Great to see the WSM and the B. A. D. In action!

Slow burn would be a perfect name for that rub! Personally, I love rubs that get more intense on every bite! For me, it enhances the flavor. Love the pelican! Thanks, brother! Cheers!

I appreciate that very much! I do have quite a few WSM videos and I still love smoking meat on mine after 10 yrs or so. She still runs like a champ and the food just keeps getting better and better with all of that carbon buildup on the inside. YUM!!! Cheers!!!

Thanks John! I've noticed less WSM vids as well. I may have to step up my WSM vids to take up the lack of new WSM videos. I've had mine almost 10 yrs and still love cooking on it. I appreciate you stopping by. Always great to hear from you brother. Cheers!!!

Yes, very interesting rub Trumpet! Also, very nice seeing you leaving a comment again. I'm thinking Chris took his Bold rub recipe and tweaked it with different types of peppers for some added spiciness? His original Bold rub was excellent and this new Slow Burn is also, but it does have some heat to it. Still though, it was quite addictive eating that chicken with the Slow Burn. Although my lips and mouth were slightly burning, I couldn't stop eating the chicken. Very interesting indeed!!! Thanks again for watching and wishing you a wonderful weekend! Cheers to ya my friend!!!!

Hey Stephen & Jacklyn, not only does it have great color, but the rub has really great flavor. It's not just one of those "spicy" rubs with no flavorings that you can taste. This one doesn't need salt or any other seasonings to boost the flavor. It's pretty much spot on from the get go. Cheers back to ya brother!!!
