- Today, I'll be talking with Stephen Gnoza, the Serious Runner. He's been hilariously lampooning all of us runners, and like any serious runner, Serious Runner just ran Boston. We'll talk about his Boston Marathon experience, where he wants to take this character, and overall just get to know the man behind Serious Runner.

Awesome interview. I really loved the original video released by Serious Runner on Boston. NBC and BAA should purchase it as an intro to next year’s Boston Marathon. It really captured the spirit of the crowd and the hilarity behind the obsessiveness we as runners sometimes take to make it there (and any A race) and run it.
I had commented before on his channel that Serious Runner should make a video wherein he bumps into another UA-cam runner vying for footage…I think we found that runner Kofuzi!
Great interview, plenty of space within the UA-cam running world to keep remembering running is supposed to always be fun and just sometimes a little bit serious 😀 🏃♂️
How about running CIM as a benefit for Sage and Sandi (or the victims of their condo complex fire more broadly)?

It’s a great comment re trail vs road running. Maybe I’m just showing my inexperience in trail running, but to me, it’s almost like the difference between the caddies and the country club members in the movie Caddyshack. Where else can you go to bathroom when you want, eat grilled cheese at aid station and have no real worries about a pr since the stated distance is usually just an approximation of that distance.

Really I'd love to know who made original complaint. That person should be banned and obviously isn't a serious runner.
I’m pretty curious as to what the BAA was thinking behind all this, but I’m sure we’ll never get that insight
