This is great to show how two runners can have different experiences when it comes to the same shoe. It’s clear Robbe doesn’t mind a firmer more responsive ride, while Mike loves the soft and bouncy type of ride. I think taking the reviewer’s experiences of shoes and comparing them to your own is the best way to actually gauge the usefulness or “accuracy” of a review.

Excellent suprise vlog , my current rotation is the forever run, Hyperion max , deviate 2, Topo cyclone2 & Two pairs of Saucony pro 3's (got a brand spanking new pair for New York) for me the Cyclone compliments the Pro 3 very well, nice to see a couple of my shoe's in this 'Reviewer Royal' .

I agree with Kofuzi about the NB sc trainer. Coming off the Adidas Prime X , I thought the NB would have the same bounce and springyness and it did not. The NB was more stable than the Prime X but that's the only edge I would give to the NB.
You should more of these types of videos!

Fun segment! I’ve worn the Pro 3 during 2 full marathons (Revel Big Bear, which is very downhill & Boston) & my legs felt fresh as daisies after both. I could’ve ran further. Idk if the grass gets much greener than the Pro 3. The 2 was too firm for me.
More often than not I agree with both of you. I tried on the Topo Cyclone 2 bc so many people told me it was “my kind of shoe”, however the toe box just swam on me so much that it was unfortunately too sloppy. The Endo Pro3 was my first CP shoe I’ve used on a marathon and it served me well w/an 18 min PR in BOS. Hated the Invincibles every version I’ve tried on, but am loving the ON Cloudsurfer and it’s holding up well for me as an alternate LR shoe to the NovaBlast3, and it’s a great recovery shoe. I’m with you 💯 on thinner crust pizzas. We tried a deep dish once in Chicago and ended up giving all but a couple of pieces away to some homeless people (who were grateful)😂

It truly one of the best race day shoes out there , used it for half/ full marathon it just did it all with no problem and the got even better the more miles you put into it!!

I loved my Cloudsurfers until they started squeaking every time I heel strike on an easier effort. Only have 50 miles in them too, so that was disappointing.
funny my Cloudsurfer 7's just started squeaking. I'm guessing I'm closer to 100 + miles. I do a lot of hills where I'm not heel-striking and still get the squeak.

@@geert574 I’ve had 3 pairs of cloudflows and one pair of surfers. And in each shoe I think I’ve had at least one amazing run. But I cannot say that about the two pair of newbalance, presently on V4 More - not BAD but no memorable runs.
Mine are doing this too... and in only 60 kilometers... like wtf??? What are your thoughts?? What should we do? Are all cloudsurfers like this? Or we just got the defective one's?
@@Perfumeguy if there’s you, me, and @runeveryday1069 experiencing it, then I don’t think it’s a defect. Maybe it’s how the surfer midsole responds to certain gait cycles? At first, I thought it’s because I’m a 175lb, slow, and casual runner with ok form, but it seems to be a design issue.
Idk what to do. I’m certainly not going to use them when I run in the indoor track/treadmill in the winter. I wouldn’t want to squeak up the whole gym like a toddler running around a mall. I think what I’ll do is retire them early. What about you?

Agree on pizza. My favorite is Brooklyn, then Italian (Boston North End), then St Louis (thin crust), then Chicago. I do not like Greek which is the majority in New England.
Interested in the Cyclone. I think Topo designs are very tame though. Shapes and colorways are just off. And the logo is not very good either.
I loved the SC Trainer until I ran a long hilly Fartlek. It destroyed my knees and I’m still recovering. That rocker on downhills not good
