Look forward to your updates. I’m only in my second month but really enjoying it. Completely selfishly, I’d love to see you do an “easy” strumming song of open chords. For no other reason than to see the chord changing progression and have something to aim for. Keep up the good work.
100%!! Did you see my month 2 video? Or Month 3? I'd be absolutely happy to take a request and give it a shot :). I totally get what you're looking for - my favorite learning site is watching Justin Guitar's songs page (can look up most songs you may have in mind) and a few other favorites on UA-cam with great tutorials and usually full playthroughs are Marty Music and Guitar Zero 2 Hero.
Keep it up. Very ambitious doing Space Oddity - imagine what that’ll sound like once you get those changes up to speed 👍🏻 Progress is great. I’m struggling with the same changes!
Yeah I've put it a way for a bit - but that's one fun thing is coming back after some time has passed and actually finding it easier to play (which I hope to experience with this one soon). Actually you give me a good reminder to pull that one back out and see where I'm at!
Ha - I feel like the first 4-5 months were really slow and felt like I hit alot of plateaus - you can see that in the videos :). But with consistency some things started to click, I figured out how to play barre chords, could keep up with most rhythms, and songs that were impossible in those first few months have become like second nature Keep at it!
@@jessethetodd i still cant get clean sounding cord changes. I mute strings going from the D to A. And i'm still struggeling with keeping rythem while changing cords
@@TommyN007 hang in there. for me it just took consistent practice, slowing things down to the point where I could get the chords to sound the way I wanted, then very gradually increasing the speed. Are you taking lessons or following any online courses? I can't say enough good about JustinGuitar's free online guitar course - it really is the complete package and has helped me immensely.
Nice job! I'm pretty much a beginner too. Check out " Can't help falling in love with you" and "Wonderful Tonight" from Guitarzero2hero. Helped me with my fingerpicking. I'll be following your progress, as you and I are both about a year in. Stay with it!
I just started Justin Guitar. I love seeing these videos!
Thanks JE. I've really loved Justin's videos and online practice app - keep on going!
you are doing well!! Keep going!
Thanks Naufal!
