If you are just one person wanting to make movies this is the way to go. This cuts out a monsterous amount of work you would have to do animating. There is also a site that you can upload recordings of yourself to and it will map it and convert into an aniamtion.

This is to go even further beyond! I like how you brought previous techniques(tutorials) into this.
This program is great but so is your character acting!
Even though the results are sometimes a little wonky and need to be cleaned, so does your first pass of actual keyframing by hand -- so this is a huge time saver.
"I made a rough model" giving major Doc Brown vibes.
For walk cycles or other pre made character movement there is also Mixamo from adobe
Mixamo is good. But i feel they never update the libary with basic stuff like sitting, talking and walking. I hope we will get more libraries with animation

This is great to see the tech evolving, years ago this required the work of multiple specialists and now can be done alone !
But the tech still costs a lot and 4000 euros is a lot for a single freelance ! Continue doigng amazing work ! :)
It isn't super cheap, but you could potentially recoup your costs by selling animations or offering mocap services to other freelancers/studios.

I don't have much space to record animations, but it looks like I have a lot more space than you used in this example! I know it's a sponsored video, but it would be good to hear more about the downsides or difficulties of using the suit or recording animations (if any).

Hello sir. Is it possible to capture motion of a character from a video and use that to your own character? Like a simple walk cycle
that cab be done using online deep motion service (paid but simple). there are some free software using open pose library but a bit difficult to work with.
Thats badass I need to learn how to paint textures like that and bring them into C4.

i dunno i think that mo cap doesnt look right. its already a 3d model trying to be 2d so its already off but now its moving hella realistically? i dunno. looks weird.
Yeah needs a lot of work to fix this mocap.
He could probably use animation curves to fix it.
he should probably move in exaggerated ways to offset it
