Featuring 37 pieces of chicken and a number of different sides, this famous well-known Texas brand of fried chicken has locations All throughout the state is a favorite of all! Famous for their chicken tenders, country gravy, fried chicken, and other items, chicken Express, had this founders challenge at the founding location! We had 60 minutes in order to get the $70 southern food meal for free, however if we were unable to eat the $70 meal, we would be paying and leaving with her head low. this is a massive fried chicken challenge! This is very crispy chicken, and they even offer a spicy chicken as a flavor option! Bought some from a random guy on the side of the road once, and it was easily 5x better than any other corn cob I've ever had.

I absolutely love their livers dipped in that cream gravy but gizzards always seem tough to me. I like the flavor but the chewing is not my favorite.

Joel That chicken looked so good ! I'm ready to hop a plane and check it out. I prefer bone in chicken, but those spicy tenders looked great. The seasoning you sprinkled on looked good to add more flavor and can't do without hot sauce. I've been eating chicken with whole pickled Jalapeno peppers for 40 years and can't have chicken without peppers lol Another great challenge and you make it through in fine style.

2:58 O M G!!! That chicken looks SOO GOOD ... one of my very favourite takeaway food is fried chicken (all dark meat) and an extra large gravy! I've never had the chance for Chicken Express, I have had 'country gravy' at a few places in the USA and it was always really good!

You were in my neckofthewoods. The best thing there is the dinner rolls and gizzard & gravy. The rolls are like old fashioned angel biscuit and the biscuits are so fire. One of the best places to get fried chicken. They let you pick out whatever pieces you want.

Yum! My grandparents were from Texas and Louisiana, so my parents knew how to fry some chicken. I was a competitive swimmer as a kid; so I needed to put that stuff down with that country gravy!

Re: the place's logo and the fact that they don't deliver anymore. We have a similar situation here in Calgary, a local business called "Chicken On The Way". Initially they had food trucks come to you and make your food on the way (this was in the 60s!), then later they switched to solely bricks-and-mortar but had delivery. They eventually ended delivery, but you can get them on delivery apps. But they retain the name.

There is a Chicken Express right down the road from my house. I have been eating there for at least 15 years. I love the fried chicken livers. You have to try them with the Cream Gravy if you haven't had them before. I love everything on their menu. I am stuffed after eating four tenders and two sides. I cannot believe you ate all that.
Their coleslaw is reaally good for fast food, Also the mini poppers are awesome!
